Superb food and exceptional service . Restaurant was packed but the sound volume was still pleasant and the ambiance with perfect . Simple and delicious. Stan
We specifically told the waiter about our nut allergy, which is anaphylactic and they served us sauce with walnuts in it. We ended up in the emergency room. Don't go here.
Loved everything about this restaurant! The food was delicious, atmosphere was very friendly, and the service was highly attentive. Would highly recommend this place and if I am back in town, I will definitely be going back.
The food was great! But they got really shady and rude when my friend and I didn't tip, which made us feel uncomfortable. "I don't know where you're from, but in New York, we tip." - quoted from one of the servers.

Always yummy, perfectly prepared Mediterranean food. Village Taverna has been a staple for years.
The tomatoes in the salad are completely unripe, white and pink in color. Considering that tomatoes are the basis of a salad, I think that such a presentation is unacceptable. The waiter referred to the off-season, but I don't think that's an argument.
Very good Greek restaurant, cuisine reminiscent of trips to Greece with American quantities. The atmosphere is nice, and the service impeccable. Very good value for money for

Food is consistently terrific. As well as being a great way place for dinner with wonderful entrees of salmon and chicken along with classic Greek dishes Village Taverna is great for lunch with a great selection of delicious salads and appetizers.
Excellent service, delicious food, and a sizable selection of options that cater to different tastes. Their cheese appetizers were especially notable.

Group of four went for Sat night dinner. It was recommended by a friend who said it was lively, decent food and reasonable prices. She was right on all accounts.
We shared chopped salad (excellent and large), fried calamari ( delicious and large portion), shrimp souvlaki ( very tasty) and Lavraki- Mediterranean sea bass ( over cooked and not too tasty). We also shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio which was good but a bit overpriced.
Overall a very nice experience.
