I was beyond pleased with my experience at Village Taverna! We changed our reservation several times, and they were very accommodating. The food was delicious and our party of 9 ordered a variety of dishes.
What a quintessential neighborhood NYC vibe! I have been here a long time ago and was in the area and wanted a good meal. Village Taverna delivered! Great layout, inviting energy and delicious food. I sat at the bar, happened to sit next to the owner, while a regular was waiting for her food to go and needless to say we all were talking, enjoying good conversations with the bar tender and appreciating excellent hospitality both from the owner and his staff. I had the pita bread...
I've eaten here 3 times over the past year, it's a nice place - large restaurant and plenty of seats. Wide choice of food and the portions are big! lamb and chicken good, dont over order unless you want some for tomorrow. There is outside seating too.
