I wish I could give Vinsteria 100 stars across the board. This venue is a place that I almost want to keep it a big secret but at the same time, tell the world because its such a special, magical place. The manager and the servers are the best in any of the restaurants I've ever dined at in my 73 years in NYC. It's the warmth, the attention, the humility, the intimacy, the old-school hospitality from the entire staff that makes you feel like they are serving only you....
We went on NYE and it was lively and tight! Drinks took a while to come to the table and our food was delicious - as people checked out to go to their next destination we were able to really sit back and look forward to the New Year.
This was our first time here. Sierra was a joyful part of our experience from the first moment we sat down. She had good suggestions and helped us navigate the menus. My manhattan was wonderful, and was stolen by my wife, who had the winning dish of the night with the amazingly tasty and beautiful black ravioli pasta stuffed with lobster.
