We went to Bryant Park Winter Village this afternoon and wanted to find a good restaurant nearby. Buenavista was about a 15 minute walk from the park but well worth it. The food, service and ambience were fabulous. We ordered the grilled octopus and roasted artichoke with asparagus to start. Our entrees were the Chilean sea bass, lobster ravioli, pork chop and shrimp with fava beans. Everything was delicious and we all cleaned our plates. We're looking forward to dining there in the very near future. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good food at a reasonable price.

Great service and cute location! We loved the specialty drinks , guac, artichoke app. I had the paella, and it was loaded! Very nice spot!

We went to NYC overnight to watch a Broadway show for my birthday weekend. I wanted Latin cuisine and decided to try this restaurant. This small quaint restaurant did not disappoint. My husband had the Pork Ossobucco and I had chicken breast stuffed with shrimp, plantain, asparagus. The presentation of the food was A+. The food was delicious as well as their drinks. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely come back again when we are in NYC.

This was our 3rd time visiting Buena Vista. Any time we're in NY (from Philly) we come here for great authentic food. Elvis is always nice and is a great host. Would recommend to anyone who loves good food in a cozy atmosphere.

The steak was undercooked even though we ordered medium to well, we asked for it to be cooked a bit more and it still arrived on the rare side, the meat wasn't the best

When I first got off the elevator, it was incredible—the view was absolutely amazing. The deck itself is beautiful and definitely the highlight of the experience. However, the buffet was honestly terrible. The food was very disappointing, and the drink I ordered was so bad I actually had to send it back. Our server only visited our table once the entire time, which added to the overall frustration. I'm not sure what I expected, but I can confidently say the value just wasn't there. I paid $90 per person, and in my opinion, it was absolutely not worth it. The audio setup was also uneven—one side of the space was much louder than the other, which made the vibe feel off. A DJ would've probably created a much better energy than what they had going. The only thing I truly appreciated was the incredible deck and the view. Everything else felt like a waste of money.
The value, food quality, and ambiance wasn't worth the price we paid. The restaurant is busy so be prepared to wait for your meal as you look around at the tables that got sat after you receive their meals before yours. The manager takes the time to have long meaningful conversations with your table (unless you're a POC so he'll just ask “Is everything ok?” as he walks to his next conversation).

Our visit fell short on multiple fronts. The food lacked flavor and took too long to be served. The hostess was dismissive from the start, and when we tried to address concerns, the manager Elvis gave us misleading information. With better dining options nearby, we won't be returning.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating our graduation here. The owner was incredibly welcoming and understanding, setting a great tone for the evening. The staff—especially our server, Katerina—were relaxed, attentive, and so much fun to be around. We also noticed a couple nearby celebrating their anniversary, which shows this place is perfect for any occasion. The view was absolutely stunning! For the best experience, ask for front seating to enjoy the scenery, or opt for the back if you're looking for a cozy, quiet spot. Highly recommend!

Server was apparently new or still training as she seem unsure to fulfill a simple request as 'panchetta on the side and shot down a couple other requests with a 'No' without even checking with the Kitchen.Lamb was tasty despite being well done as opposed to medium temp requested.Bruno the bartender made great cocktails and pleasant demeanor .The other dishes were mediocre at best. The view and company made up for the average cusine and service. Won't be back and definitely not recommending this spot except for drinks and great background for pictures!
