I've been staying at the Aloft Hotel on this stay in New York and while I've been here I've been on the hunt for a good espresso martini. I was surprised when I found the best one right in my hotel at the WXYZ Bar. Kelvin made some delicious espresso martini's. Definitely swing by and check them out!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the WXYZ Bar and Lounge at Aloft Manhattan Downtown New York, and it was an exceptional experience! The drinks were not only delicious but also expertly crafted. The highlight of the evening was Kelvin, the bartender, whose outstanding customer service truly elevated the experience. He was friendly, attentive, and ensured everyone felt welcome. I highly recommend this spot for a great night out!

We stayed at the A Loft hotel for 3 nights. Each evening we stopped at the WXYZ Lounge for a night cap. Kelvin the bartender was not only so friendly, but also very accommodating…he was extremely attentive, and always there to serve us if we needed a refill. We admired his all around happy and pleasant gesture. 😊

Wow! Amazing drinks (friends got various different cocktails & I got wine), great music, extremely friendly staff, best bartender. I don’t think this really operates as a bar anymore? Walked in with a buddy and there was no one there, pool table would’ve been solid except for the fact that the cues had no tips, lol

Rooms are Very basic and small but clean. Don’t expect any customer service here. The two girls on reception had no interest in saying good morning or asking if we had a nice stay. They had resting b1tch face during the whole transaction. Oh and housekeeping bang and shout in their radios at 9am in the hall and don’t even look at you as you walk by. Dreadful experience

Poor design by Marriott The room has no drawers for unpacking only 2 high small cubbyholes TV MENU GUIDE is slow and won’t allow you to pick a channel beyond 10 and defaults to Marriott channel When you turn it off The lounge/bar only has booze No pretzels or munchies Staff is nice and helpful

I was able to get checked in before 11 am and the platinum late checkout of 4pm was granted without question. The room was on the 2nd floor; so no view of any kind :-) Water pressure in the shower was great. The room was small but everything worked fine, the bed was comfy, room was clean. The hotel had coffee and water available free of charge at any time. There is no breakfast at this Aloft. Very convinient to subway (Fulton) to/from JFK; PATH's WTC station.

When we checked in the front desk agent was so nice and helpful and friendly.The rooms was clean and quiet considering their was construction on the corner. The problem started with the frond desk working the afternoon/evening shift. She couldn't be bothered. We came back from the day and I said hello, she completely ignored me. I then asked if we could get a few more hangers, sure I ll have someone bring them up. That never happened, I had to go back down to the lobby the next morning and ask the nice agent, They were there within 5 minutes. Also on that first night, we couldn't get our window to shut. We called down and the agent put us on hold 3 times and never picked back up, once waiting about 7 minutes. I finally had to go down and ask in person, luckily there was someone else at the desk, or it probably wouldn't have been fixed. I am a marriott rewards member and stay in a variety of different properties. I don't expect the service I get at the Ritz-Carlton when I stay at Aloft or AC Hotels, however some sort of guest service should exist.

Mark was extremely helpful and kind in checking us in. He made our trip extra special and we really appreciate it. Our room was exactly what we needed and we are having a great trip. Shout out to you mark and Manny the incredible bartender
