I have only eaten here three times and each time the food was tasty, service was excellent and the prices are good. They have my favorite, the nigiri unfiltered sake for a surprisingly good price as well. A great deal!

Sorry to say but Wagamama has to be one of the worst meals I've had in NYC. The vegetable tempura was cold by the time It got to the table. According to the restaurant schpiel (see picture) tempura should be crispy but it was doughy and soggy. The pad Thai was not cold when I got it but lost the small amount of heat it had very quickly. There was no spice and it was boring, flavor-wise. I should've known something was up when I saw the soba was not made from buckwheat. Soba not made from buckwheat? Really? Wagamama is like the MacDonalds of Asian food - which is not a good thing.

Came here with a coworker for lunch. Pretty quiet on a weekday. We ended up getting a lot of apps because they all seemed so delicious! The menu was very clear and the wait staff was nice. We got edamame, the shrimp, dumplings, and another app which must not have made much of an impression on me since I can't remember it. But, four apps split between two ladies was definitely enough for a lunch!

Yikes! What a disappointment! We usually love Wagamama, but it seems like this location just couldn't figure it out. We should've realized something was wrong when we were standing for 5 minutes to get a table when there were plenty of empty tables all around us. Service was unusually slow (as compared to the Flatiron one). Our dishes arrived separately and I had to wait 10 min after the first entree was served. I had the steak bulgogi with rice noodles. The noodles were way undercooked and stuck together. You've gotta soak that stuff! Also half the steak was completely raw and I couldn't chew thru it at all. We told the waiter who that they would fix it. But 20 min later, we were still waiting and had given up. What shitty service!! Anyway, I don't recommend going on a busy night (Friday around 8) bc you might just end up having raw food that you wait forever for. Maybe it'll be ok when it's empty? No idea. I'm gonna avoid this location and stick with Flatiron.

3.5 Stars but rounding up because we were able to easily get a table on a Saturday night (the wait/line system at Le Sia left a lot to be desired). Our party of 6 had a variety of dishes to share including the cauliflower (10/10), pork belly bao (8/10) and edamame (9/10). Crispy squid and fried chicken were both good as well. Portions for the apps are on the paltry side so order more than you think. For mains we tried duck salad, fried udon noodles, short rib ramen and chicken chili ramen. I loved my short rib ramen and the bite of noodles I tried. My friend was very unhappy with the chicken chili ramen and after trying the broth (sour, spicy) I can see why. Just wasn't very good especially when compared to the beef. Service was kind but seating is stools (no back support) and no hooks near to our table to hang coats/bags. Nothing particularly memorable but it's a solid place to go with a group that isn't too crowded/loud on a weekend.

Had a good experience at the Murray Hill location recently and decided to try this one after watching a movie at the theatre across the street. Pretty much the same layout and decor with open kitchen and lots of seatings throughout. We sat in a booth by the window. The restaurant was pretty empty when we walked in but got filled up by the time we left. Recommended my boyfriend to try the Wagamama ramen which he liked a lot. I had the duck salad which was exactly what I wanted...something healthy (in salad and quinoa) and with protein. Restrooms are located downstairs. Loved that it has an elevator for those who may need to use it. For those who are vegan, the menu has some good selections. Would definitely come back when we are in the hood.

Modern Japanese food, almost similar to P.F. Chang's kind of vibe. They write your order on your placemat??? Which was a little weird to me because our server didn't really explain it to us. The Wagamama ramen was really good. We also had: Tropical Juice: good but better if it was cold Fried Chicken- good Bang Bang Cauliflower- nothing insanely crazy and small portioned Duck salad- ok, good duck but weird dressing Short Rib Ramen- very tender meat but overall ok Steak Bulgogi- ok Some of the older reviews mentioned the bad service but we had great service. I just did not like how they make you pay right at the table i.e. the server brings over the machine and makes you pay and tip right in front of them while they hold a machine in your face.

This place is sooooo delicious. Hands down the best ramen I've had. What mad the experience even better is the staff. The nicest people I've seen. Super nice, super polite, and my son especially loved them. Can't wait to come back again.

Great food, superb drinks. The place has a nice ambiance and servicer was wonderful. Very happy with their vegan menu.

Easy to get a seat for a group because the place is so big but the food is pretty weird for ramen and doesn't taste great. The cups we were given were dirty too.

Horrible service, waitress was clueless and food 2 out of 4 dishes were cold or didn't come out right, good atmosphere but horrible service

Wagamama more of a modern fast casual vibe, which explains the generally cheaper pricing for the menu items. The menu contains mainly Asian food items with a number of vegan, vegetarian, and healthy options. Definitely great for takeout or delivery. Had the wagamama ramen which was not anything special. The broth temperate was warm, not hot, which was a bit weird.

There is ample seating, though for larger groups the seating was high table with no back support, so you probably won't feel like being there for a long time. They also write down the item number you ordered on your placemat for some reason. I originally guessed it was to make sure they serve it to the right person, but the waitress screwed up anyway, giving me someone else's item and didn't even realize her mistake until we figured it out ourselves. Overall it's a decent place for a quick meal (even for a large group,we were 7), as they handled our orders very quickly, but the setting is not comfortable.

The food is okay, but the service left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. I asked for a glass for water and the waitress said "okay, just a minute", but she never gave it to me, even though she was standing near me throughout the entire duration of my meal. A different waitress had to give it to me when I asked. Then, when it came to paying, they charged my friend's portions and ended up charging the entire bill on my card. After apologizing and reversing the transaction, they charged the amount for my meal, I wrote in a tip, and left. A couple weeks later, I noticed a double transaction on my card, so I went back and told them. They told me I needed a receipt, otherwise there's nothing they could do about it. Luckily, I had it, but if I didn't, I would have been penalized for their own mistake. It took ~30 minutes for the manager to find my transaction and reverse it. I felt like I wasted my time and I wish they could have offered some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. Not coming back to this location.

Love the food here. Get the Chicken Katsu Curry, you won't be disappointed. The green tea is free!
