I was hesitant to try this place because of the price but my husband insisted we give it a try. Let me tell you, this place did NOT disappoint. We ordered for pick up, and no expense was spared for the take-out containers. We were also given a thermal bag to keep the food warm. We walked 8 blocks back to our hotel and the food was still hot when we got back. The Wagyu roll was delicious, but the Japanese A5 Wagyu Flash Grilled Pepper Steak Over Rice was AMAZING. So tender, flavorful, melt in your mouth delicious. We will definitely come back the next time we visit NYC.

This review is dedicated to Shinichi of the Wagyu Social restaurant who took a Uber ride to deliver my food order when the Tock/Door Dash service had failed me twice. I ordered a A5 Wagyu Steak over rice dish and had it scheduled for a 8:45 pm delivery from the exploretock.com website. Tock partners with Doordash to deliver the food from their vendors. I was instructed that there would be a notification from doordash, I did not receive a notification for a delivery until 9 pm 15 minutes past my scheduled delivery time. I had contacted the restaurant and spoke with Shinichi who informed me that my order had been prepared a while ago and was awaiting a doordash delivery person to come pick it up. The food notification indicated that my order would arrive at 9:57 pm, that's an hour past my scheduled delivery time but I decided to be patient and wait. I waited until 9:45 pm when I decided to check on the status of my delivery, it indicated that my driver had not arrived at the restaurant yet...I called the restaurant yet again to check on the status. They indicated to me that along with me they have been waiting for this mysterious door dash driver to show up. At this point in time my order has been sitting there for over an hour already. Shinichi indicates that when the driver arrives he will prepare a fresh order for me, he called to indicate to me that the driver arrived at 9:50 pm. I am excited now because I am that much closer to getting the food, at this point I am starting as well. At 10 pm I get a new notification from door dash that stated my order was canceled due to the restaurant being closed which could not have been true as I have been in contact with the restaurant this whole time. I called the restaurant yet again and inconvenienced Shinichi and told him about my canceled order...Shinichi says they are short staffed but he says that it's unfair that I have waited for so long for the meal for it to be canceled. He takes an uber and hand delivers the meal to me on the house. I can honestly say that this restaurant is top notch in their customer service and they have gained a return customer in me. I would urge anyone and everyone to go out to Wagyu Social to give them business. They are just that wonderful. Now onto the meal, Shinichi added an extra appetizer of Wagyu Nigiri(wagyu sushi) into my order. The A5 Wagyu was melt in your mouth perfection. I cannot wait to return to this wonderful restaurant in person and thank them again for the dedication to their craft and keeping everything so professional. Thank you Wagyu Social and Thank you Shinichi!!

Their meat sushi roll is amazinggggg! Wagyu meat literally melted in my mouth and taste awsome. I personally liked how they seasoning roll. Definitely will try again!

I just ordered this from Uber Eats. Omg it’s amazing. I tried their Wagyu sushi and it was very delicious and high quality. They pay attention to detail and the whole experience was 10/10. Even included a cool bag!

Try the meat sushi, it’s sooo tender with so much flavor! Especially if you prefer yours on the medium rare end. I haven’t found another place that does this.

These burgers are so good!! There's so much flavor in the meat and the bun's fluffy but also crisp on the outside texture complements it perfectly. I can definitely taste the difference between this and other cheap and high-end burgers not Wagyu.
