Custard was interesting but boba was not the best

Maybe it’s just my taste but I wouldn’t not recommend to try the oolong latte as your first ever unless you tried it and absolutely loved it. Could not finish it 🥲 I wont give them a terrible review based on 1 drink. Just fyi because mindful of what you order ☺️
The shop is nice and they hand out the stuff quite fast so that’s okay.

Excellent shop for traditional Taiwanese flavors. You can customize your drink with ice and sugar levels. If you like the flavor of traditional Taiwan tea without sugar, get something like Alishan Oolong. I added taro balls and red bean. Refreshing and a nice ‘dessert’ alternative.

Whenever I’m in Manhattan and craving milk tea, Wanpo is my go-to spot. I’ve been coming here regularly and they’ve never missed the mark. My usuals are the Oolong Latte and the Green Milk Tea, and both are consistently excellent — smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

What really sets Wanpo apart is their consistency. Every visit, the drinks taste just as good as the last, which is rare to find. Service is quick and reliable, making it easy to stop by without a long wait.

If you’re looking for a place in Manhattan that always delivers great milk tea, Wanpo is the one.

Exceptional for sure. One of the best tea spots in the city. Really good island black tea and jellies

Some unique tea choices than other typical bubble places. Really liked the traditional and nostalgic feel of the decor. Tasted my companion’s soy milk red bean it was mild in flavor. Did not like the self order machine would not indicate a selected beverage as unavailable until after tapping credit card. The credit card charge went through without transaction completed but refund did get credited in 2 days.

Wanpo Tea Shop is hands-down our favorite boba spot in NYC! Every visit is a delight, with their authentic Taiwanese bubble tea stealing the show. The Wanpo Milk Tea is a perfect balance of rich, aromatic tea and creamy goodness, with chewy boba that’s always just right. We also love the Oolong Milk Tea for its smooth, floral notes. The portions are generous—half the cup is filled with those delightful pearls!

The service is quick and friendly, and the self-ordering kiosk makes the process a breeze. The cozy, traditional vibe adds to the charm, making it a great grab-and-go spot near Washington Square Park. Whether you’re a boba fanatic or a first-timer, Wanpo’s quality and authenticity make it a must-visit. We keep coming back for more!

I love a tea shop with both good tea and jelly. One of my favorite spots in NYC.

They make a decent matcha, earthy and rich more than grassy and springtime-esque, but maybe I should have tried a different tea. The boba was a little al dente for my liking. The size was also fairly small and expensive. I'm not sure I would go back, as there are other boba shops making better quality boba.

Taiwanese style bubble tea - not too sweet, and the tea has an interesting flavor that is a bit earthy and rich, similar to another tea I've had in the past, but can't quite place. Bubbles are firm and not too sweet, too, which was nice. Ordering was through the kiosk.

Solid milk tea spot. I’d recommend most of the menu and their seasonal drinks are fun too.

Ordering through Snackpass minimizes the wait if it’s busy and makes pick up a breeze.
