Exceptional for sure. One of the best tea spots in the city. Really good island black tea and jellies

Some unique tea choices than other typical bubble places. Really liked the traditional and nostalgic feel of the decor. Tasted my companion’s soy milk red bean it was mild in flavor. Did not like the self order machine would not indicate a selected beverage as unavailable until after tapping credit card. The credit card charge went through without transaction completed but refund did get credited in 2 days.

Wanpo Tea Shop is hands-down our favorite boba spot in NYC! Every visit is a delight, with their authentic Taiwanese bubble tea stealing the show. The Wanpo Milk Tea is a perfect balance of rich, aromatic tea and creamy goodness, with chewy boba that’s always just right. We also love the Oolong Milk Tea for its smooth, floral notes. The portions are generous—half the cup is filled with those delightful pearls!

The service is quick and friendly, and the self-ordering kiosk makes the process a breeze. The cozy, traditional vibe adds to the charm, making it a great grab-and-go spot near Washington Square Park. Whether you’re a boba fanatic or a first-timer, Wanpo’s quality and authenticity make it a must-visit. We keep coming back for more!

I love a tea shop with both good tea and jelly. One of my favorite spots in NYC.

They make a decent matcha, earthy and rich more than grassy and springtime-esque, but maybe I should have tried a different tea. The boba was a little al dente for my liking. The size was also fairly small and expensive. I'm not sure I would go back, as there are other boba shops making better quality boba.

Taiwanese style bubble tea - not too sweet, and the tea has an interesting flavor that is a bit earthy and rich, similar to another tea I've had in the past, but can't quite place. Bubbles are firm and not too sweet, too, which was nice. Ordering was through the kiosk.

Solid milk tea spot. I’d recommend most of the menu and their seasonal drinks are fun too.

Ordering through Snackpass minimizes the wait if it’s busy and makes pick up a breeze.

You can taste real tea inside, which is rare in bubble tea places.

I love this place but note that they charge a hidden fee, which you won’t see until after you pay and only if you actually examine your receipt.

I pass by here all the time and I always told myself I will always go in and grab myself some bubble tea. On a random lunch break. I finally did just that and I'm so happy I did! I got the rice yam milk tea and oh my God it tasted like cake. It was so good!! Inside the shop looks so cool It looks like a traditional tea shop and there are iPads so you can place your order. The service here was pretty quick and it's a nice shop if you just want to come in and take a little tea break
