Typical tourist rip off. We visited this restaurant with a friend. The waiter was super smarmy but all a cover for the rip off. Food was average but don't ask for mayonnaise or ketchup. I asked for mayo. Super nice guy waiter gladly brings three sachets of mayo and unrequsted ketchup - neglecting to say that the sachets were 90c each - six sachets being 5.40 - we only used two of the sachets but they were cleared away before we realized that they were going to charge for the sachets - so we couldn't contest it. They also charged 90c for a glass of tap water. Again we weren't told of this charge. They are small amounts but it's the under hand deceit.

Went here for lunch after just arriving in Budapest. Great location just off the main strip and service was very quick but would not recommend as found food extremely salty,

Busy Austrian restaurant close to the Cathedral Service quite quick despite being a busy warm evening Schnitzels and goulash which we tried were very good and portions large Well worth a visit !

Wienerwald? Wie kann solch ein Geschäft diesen Namen tragen? Sorry in Wien Hauptbahnhof gegenüber von burgerking ist das einer der schlechtesten Geschäfte welche ich bisher in Wien gesehen habe. Kassiererin unfreundlich, der Mitarbeiter welcher in der Küche arbeitet total gelangweilt. Abgesehen von der offensichtlichen Verschmutzung in diesem Geschäft. Muss man hier die entsprechenden Ämter einschalten ? Dagegen ist sogar der Asiate nebenan noch sauberer und besser ….. Pfui, ohne Worte….. also essen werde ich hier definitiv NIEMALS. Auch nicht mehr in Deutschland…. KORREKTUR 26.12.2021 21:54 - so nachdem ich gerade die ganzen negativen Bewertungen gelesen habe sollte man ernsthaft in Betracht ziehen dies den entsprechenden Behörden zu melden!

Probably the most disappointing 'food' experience I've had in Vienna. The only thing that had any flavor on that plate was mayo, other than that the food was bland and most definitely overpriced . The service was unfortunately extremely slow and unpleasant.

The waitress was friendly till I bought back the Kaiserschmarren. It was old, stale and seemed like it was sat in the kitchen for a while. I told the waitress in a very polite and calm manner and she responded extremly aggresively! NEVER AGAIN. No wonder no one was sat in that place.

We had lunch here. Simple food - fried chicken and spatzle. The food filled a hole but was not that cheap considering what we ate. But it tasted good.
After any length of time spent in Vienna, the sameness of the typical Austrian menus becomes a bit of drag. Wienerwald is a rotisserie chicken specialty restaurant. Tasty food, and a good change of pace after getting Schnitzeled out!" I had the classic half Brathendl, or half roasted chicken; served with a Blattsalat (green salad), and Pommes Frites (French fries). Came away satisfied.

The staff was not the nicest and the toilets disgusting but that’s not the point. The food was simply trash. Simply deep fried stuff packed into the fryer way too long. Wouldn’t recommend in thousand years!! By the way: what you see on the pictures should be Bratkartoffeln- ridiculous!

We were walking near by looking for a place to eat. This wasn't shown on TripAdvisor map when I checked for restaurant around us, which is a shame,as we could have missed it. Was busy when we came for lunch, around 14.30 but we found the last table available. The service was good, our waitress was attentive. The food was good, I went for local fish, and we had shnitzel as well, both fresh and tasty.

Visited last night, and as we are vegetarian, we ordered the mushrooms and breaded ball to share. They came with a very small piece of lettuce and grated carrot. They are definitely not a main course, but too big for a starter, and both cost 10.4 Euros each. Much better restaurants around with good vegetarian choices.
