I mean they could invest in fans, but it is what it is.Service was good and fast, especially from the busser.Went there for 1 reason and 1 reason only, the Porter House. Ummmm, I've had better. It was Ok. It lacked flavor and was surprisingly dry (no natural juice, just oil and blood) (Medium done). I had to salt the heck out of it and pull the forbidden steak sauce request at a steak house. 3/5 for the overall experience but 1/5 for the actual steak.I actually changed my rating to a 1 star. The owners reply to some of these reviews is childish and I'm sensing racial undertones.

My friend and I went before a show on a Friday night. Service was great. I ordered the rib eye medium rare. It was cooked perfectly, but it was very tough. We also ordered the Caesar salad. The dressing was a little on the mayo side, but was still pretty good.

Superb food, great service. As part of an annual pilgrimage with friends to NYC, we enjoyed steaks, salads, home fries and veggies. Followed by Pecan Pie, Cheesecake and Apple Pie. Wow, what a stunning Steakhouse.

Total disappointment! After spending $300 for two people, for not leaving enough tip ($50) they told us that we should go to McDonald's... A shame, we left very very disappointed by the way they demand tips. Screams and bad faces on his part without giving explanations.

I didn’t want the expensive price, like Keens and Johnnie’s, but still a good quality steak. I was able find Westside Steakhouse on trip adviser. Good quality steaks with out breaking the bank. I ordered a NY steak medium, it was cooked perfectly and I added crumble blue cheese for perfection. The mushroom risotto was moist and delicious. My son said that there Mac n Cheese one of the best he has eaten. The ambiance is great and the staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this restaurant!
I don't know why it has taken my husband and me so long to discover this gem of a restaurant as we live a few blocks away. We've been twice now in the past two months. The food is top notch. My husband had the steak and I had the grilled pork chops (I actually couldn't eat both chops so had lunch the next day). Besides the food, what makes the evenings so special is our server Fanny. She is so friendly and accommodating and we were lucky to have her serve us on both occasions. A couple of suggestions for the owners: include at least one vegetable with each main dish. It gets quite expensive to pay $9, $10 or $11 for a side dish. Don't put balsamic vinegar on your grilled asparagus; it takes away from the taste. And leave the tv off or change to a channel other than Fox News. We deliberately sat at a table so we didn't have to look at that for our entire meal.
