We had the Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu and it was fantastic! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We couldn't have picked a better place for our holiday in the city!

Great service but limited ! great food ! Felt rushed our dinner came out 15 min before our apps then our dessert was delivered while we where still eating out dinner ,, the apple pie was cold and the ice cream melted before we finished our main . And we never got our Mac and cheese ordered !! 3 course meal pushed out in under an hour . Was so unfair !! I still give a 5 star thou .. I just think they didn't have the service time table together !!

Food was not very good and service was TERRIBLE. Probably the worst service I have had while in NYC multiple times. Only good thing about this bar is a $10 Guinness. I wouldn't recommend stopping at this place if visiting NYC.
Editing this review. We had a terrible experience, but the management staff reached out afterwards and made it right. I appreciate that and it goes a long way. Because of that I would try this place again.

The service was nice. The ambience is terrific. My burger tasted like the chef spilled the salt shaker in it. It's really hard to screw up a hamburger. But this place accomplished it. The fries were good. But that's just plain potatoes fried. The food does not match, the ambience of the place. Also, I know it's Manhattan and all of that but it's over priced for what it was. The drinks were good. The person who met me at the front was friendly enough. But this is Manhattan. If you can't make a hamburger, try selling shoes.

This place was amazing. The decorations for Christmas were very cozy and cute. They also have bar trivia every Wednesday night that is fun to participate in both the staff and the food were amazing. Highly recommend the Baratta

Lovely, cozy bar restaurant in the heart of NYU land.
Unfortunately, I did not get pictures of our drinks or food, but this place was good and had a warm, cozy atmosphere. We sat at the bar and immediately the bartender acknowledge that we were there and let us know in what order he would get to us. He was working alone, but still quite efficient. Sometimes all it takes is a moment for them to acknowledge your presence and that’s not always what we receive in the city. We both ordered a different type of salad one with chicken on top and one with salmon on top, both were delicious. The salmon was not overcooked and it flaked perfectly. We were also pleasantly surprised that the prices were reasonable for that area of town. Definitely on our list of spots to return to.

Came before and service was cool, Called at 11:13 today to try and see if the kitchen was open, someone very sweet picked up the phone and said unfortunately no and a second later while still talking to the person I hear someone in the background saying JUST HANG UP ON THEM!! overall pretty rude and I won’t be coming again

The food here works for me on multiple levels. They offer good value with ideally portioned meals. The cost, generous servings, excellent food, and employees justify five stars. The food here is reasonably priced and deliciously prepared. This spot receives my entire support.
