Celebrated my wife's birthday with brunch at the White Oak. We waited quite a bit before anyone came over to take our order, but it was midday on a Saturday and they were very busy, so somewhat understandable. 4 of the diners at our table got the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato), which were enjoyed. My French Dip was just okay. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating.
Fantastic evening with an old friend - we were given one of their prized booths by the host - who is very kind with great front of house energy - and wonderful quick service - but we were allowed to linger over our comfort food in a gastro pub setting - 6 stars ☺️
Visited on a recommendation and were not disappointed! We had the Wot Burgers - fab! Lightly toasted bun, perfectly cooked, juicy thick burgers with bacon, tomato, lettuce and a great burger sauce. Staff very cheerful and fun. Great spot and worth a visit.
