I would strongly suggest requesting Sam as your server when you make reservations. He is delightful and very knowledgeable when it comes to the excellent cuisine. He will also go above and beyond to take wonderful pictures to create a memorable experience. We had an amazing time and the food was absolutely mouth watering. Compliments to the Chef. The fish dishes are delicious and the lamb was tender and tasty. I never get desert but since we were celebrating my Husband’s birthday we had the chocolate cake and Oatmeal fried cookie 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥…my new favorite place!

Disappointing beyond belief. The fancy menu hides the reality: poorly executed food. The grilled chicken was dry, the French fries drowned in seasoning, and the salmon was, at best, fair. Service was wretchedly slow—unacceptable given how few patrons there were. Do yourself a favor and take a pass on this place. You’re welcome.

Lovely little Mediterranean Restaurant in midtown. The cocktails were tasty and inventive. The mushroom risotto appetizer was the star of the show, 10/10 would get again. The beef Bourgogne was flavorful and hearty. Highly recommended

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our hostess, who was also our server. She was extremely kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit—always smiling, checking in to see if we needed anything, and making sure we were enjoying our food. Her service was truly wonderful and one of the highlights of the evening.
The restaurant itself has a beautiful ambiance and great décor, which added to the overall atmosphere.
As for the food, it was fine—not bad, but not something that makes me feel the need to come back. Unfortunately, I did have an issue with my salad: the tomato slices still had a market sticker on it. I showed it to our server, who apologized and took the tomato to the kitchen, but nothing else was done. I still had to pay for the dish, and no complimentary replacement or gesture was offered.
I understand that mistakes happen (I work in a restaurant myself), but I was a bit disappointed in how the situation was handled. Overall, the service and atmosphere were excellent, but the food and follow-up on the issue left me underwhelmed.

We chose White Olive to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and overall, it was an excellent decision. The atmosphere, service, and food came together to create a memorable evening.
Service was a highlight of our experience. Our server, Darcy, was exceptionally attentive, warm, and professional. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and provided thoughtful recommendations on both food and drinks, which greatly enhanced our dining experience.
The food was beautifully presented and, for the most part, exceeded expectations. The four mezzes were well-prepared, with the tzatziki being the standout. The calamari, shrimp saganaki, and grilled halloumi were flavorful and enjoyable. For our entrées, we ordered the lavraki and the filet mignon, both of which were seasoned well and cooked with care. Each dish showcased freshness and attention to detail in preparation.
For dessert, we tried the baklava with ice cream and the molten lava cake. The baklava was delicate and balanced, while the lava cake offered a rich flavor and a gooey texture.
Overall, White Olive provided us with a wonderful dining experience and made a special occasion feel even more meaningful. The combination of attentive service, thoughtful recommendations, and high-quality dishes makes it a restaurant we look forward to visiting again.

Additionally, the mashed potatoes had an unusual taste that was quite concerning upon the first bite. Unfortunately, I experienced stomach cramps and indigestion shortly after the meal. Furthermore, I believe the pricing was not commensurate with the quality of the food, particularly regarding the meat, which seemed improperly cooked and potentially past its prime.
