Horrible price, horrible freshness.
Small nice place to buy a food and groceries
Wholesome is one of only two local grocery/deli ops in my tiny urban outpost. For me to review them would be like complaining about my sister. The average person would never run into a single fault in my sister. Like most tiny operators in Manhattan, Wholesome tries to be too much to too many in too little space. We keep coming back
I hate that I'm leaving this bc I used to come here all the time, but they kept me waiting for my online order 25min past the max quote time, no big deal I live close by I come by I ask if I should just come back in a few minutes & pick up my burger that was modified no cheese. I grab it, & it has cheese which I can't eat. I show them 2minutes later & their cleaning up the grill & say they can't remake it bc the deli is closed, so they lost my ticket took 45minutes total to make my order then refused to remake it.
(leaving up & editing original review bc although I think the original incident wasn't handled well the owner reached out to make it right & I genuinely appreciate that 👍🏽)
Unlike others, I actually think the service here is quite good, but the problem is that the quality and freshness of the food is very low and the prices are extremely high. A box of cereal will cost you $10, a small bag of flour will go for $8. It is really ridiculous.
The B & B Bodega closeby is a much better option most of the time, Wholesome Factory really feels like a tourist trap.
I was overcharged and charged twice on my credit card. I will report this to my bank. I only purchased one item, and I see two charges from this place. Even if it is a small amount, the business must be held accountable; it would probably happen to other people. The good thing is I always check my bank. Please keep your receipts for more than a week or storage them because people will take advantage of us being busy with life that we don't even stop and keep track of our spending.
I was mind blown by the service and the fact that many things were accepted by EBT. Glory to God. Bless this place IJN <3 Alvaro made a perfect smoothie, and Karen and Angie were very warm loving and welcoming! Beauty! <33
Every time we order for delivery it take more than a hour to arrive…so we always have to call to see if our order is on the way, and when our order arrives most of the time our order is wrong. Even when we order for pick up its NEVER ready after arriving 30 mins prior to when we first called to order. So unprofessional!
Great fresh food 😎🙌🏻
Horrible place phone lady is very disrespectful when I am always respectful. Place is not welcoming at all. They mess your orders up all the time. Food has mold they are rude people accuse you of trying to get free food when they mess up your order then refuse service because they always mess up the order. Will never be getting from there again. How can you trust the food of a place that is nasty on the phone to you when your are very respect with a calm nice tone of voice. I am sure they spit in my food but this is all I can do. Wtv place sucks

The cheese pizza slice had a good amount of cheese. It was an okay slice.
The pepperoni roll had nice bread. The marinara sauce is really sweet.
Great selection, decent deli counter. Only problem is rising prices. Overall a decent place to go grab a quick bite. The produce is outrageously expensive though.
Don’t order delivery from here, places in queens deliver faster
On the second day, this has happened. For their prices, they should close down the store…
Edit: I went there two years later, bread is stale again with mold.
Will never make the mistake again.
I love the deli worker
