$50 for what is essentially a 3 inch hashbrown. $30 fried fish similar to the fish sticks my daughter gets at daycare. Nice ambience, good wine and great service. Food absolutely not worth the price. Right size that and you've got yourself a cute neighborhood restaurant.
Food and service were excellent. Sat by the kitchen and had a lovely time. Most enjoyable. Thanks
Clams too fishy, too much salt on the uni, potato cake and pancake not fresh, olives on the scallop too sour not balanced
Loved the ambience. Food wasn't spectacular across the board in teens of flavor, felt like being ostentatious was more important than tasting delicious. Good spot for a date. Servers were pushy rather than kind. Still, I'll be back.
I choosed this place out of a review. We are from Montreal and we had such a great experience! Food and service were amazing. Highly recommand
Excellent, inventive food--perfect portion sizes--with a great wine list and warm service.
Really excellent quality and service -- is focused on small plates, so do be aware of this before you go for a meal. That said, you will be well fed by the end!
Menu was small and didn't have a lot of options for us. Tuna dish was one of the worst I've had. Steak was just okay for the price. Our waitress was lovely
Only come here for drinks, don't come for food. We ordered five different dishes, only the skate and scallops were good everything else was not good. Unfortunately all the portion sizes were super super small for the hefty price, and the time it took for the food to come out was incredibly long.
I hate writing this. I have spent many special occasions at Wildair. I celebrated my birthday here. My wife and I spent new years at Wildair. I’ve brought friends here. I’ve recommended this place countless times.
The meal we had tonight was uncharacteristically off. The clams were nothing like the ones I’ve had in the past. They were wholly under seasoned, lacking salt that the XO used to provide. I used to rave about these clams. They seem to be larger than the ones they sourced in the past.
The gem salad was as good as ever. Nothing to note, great dish.
The scallops, which I’ve never had prepared this way, had an unpleasant effervescence to them. Something I’ve come to know when you mishandle the freezing and thawing of scallops. Didn’t finish the dish unfortunately. I found the olives to be strangely bitter. I’ve had other raw scallops dishes in the past including the Sicilian Sashimi, which is an all time fave.
I really hope this was a bad night. I’m by no means a regular, but I’ve been here at least a half dozen times over the last 5 years. I love Bar Contra. I loved the original Contra, and I still love Wildair. I have too many good memories there. This is why I’m giving 4 stars, but the recent meal I had was simply below their standards.

Outstanding service from the host to the wait staff. Food was phenomenal from taste to presentation. Kids loved it as much as we did.
One of my favorite places to go with a few friends. Amazing wine list. Delicious shareable dishes. Desserts are always stellar. Pithivier, clams with almond milk & XO, beef tartare, little gem, fried stuffed olives, butter beans with lamb sausage, millefeuille, chocolate tart and the sundae were all standout.
Food was interesting, we really enjoyed the beef tartar, gem salad, and the pithiver. The clams were interesting but the almond milk and XO pairing did not do it for me. The confir bluefin tuna was interesting but not my preferred way to eat tuna.
The dessert was definitely a highlight. The melon sundae and mille feuille were fantastic!
The wine list was interesting, leans more natty. My biggest issue was I think a quarter of the first bottle we ordered disappeared somehow...we all felt it was strange how we barely got a pour and a half from the first bottle, so we ordered another. Our second bottle stayed on our table and we all noticed we got substantially more wine per person. Just a heads up, I'd probably keep an eye on the bottle.

Great food and wine menu! The host was a bit pushy, I understand they want to turn tables for the next reservation but we felt rushed.
The tip in this restaurant is charged twice, take care. The bill was already with a 20% tip included but by surprise now I found an assitional 20% charge, what means more than 40% of tips. It just be an error, I hope somebody from the restaurant get in contact with me. For new customers: please take special care with the tips in this restaurant, take a look into your bill 1 week after.
