The service was excellent, the restaurant was quiet even when full and the dessert was delicious but the flavors on the menu are very complex, boarding on weird (I’m looking at you, anchovy eclairs) and if you’re looking for anything resembling comfort food you’re in the wrong place.

Was dying to try this place, called and they let me know all they had was high tops. In 2024 I thought all NYC restaurants were aiming to be accessible for all. Hope the team fixes this to welcome those of us in wheelchairs.

I love this place so so much. I go twice a year with my girls. It’s a heavy hitter. The staff are great and the food is phenomenal. Also, their Saturday donuts are *chef’s kiss*
I want to gatekeep this place forever but they deserve all the praise.

Clams and red snapper crudo were great, everything we ate was delicious. Very good service as well.

This was my second time at Wildair. The service was lovely, the music was right, and the food was incredible (I had the best tomato of the summer — I already miss it). Get the orange wine, the pithivier, and one of every dessert they offer (you won't regret it).
The restaurant was closed, despite my having a reservation and confirming via open table— when we arrived, it was completely dark. We got no communication that the restaurant may be closed. It was our anniversary dinner and it was very disappointing to have to find somewhere else close by to wander into
Excellent products, quality of raw materials.
I recommend 3 small plates per person to fill yourself up.
Average cost of 6 small dishes plus 1 wine 200usd.
If you are going to be relaxed and think about different wines this is the place

A very laid back great spot with a great wine selection and very knowledgeable staff. Carlos gave us a great recommendation based on what we were feeling and it was really delicious. Would highly recommend

Raw fish dishes need to improve, oysters tasted extremely fishy in a bad way, extremely smelly, impossible to eat. Sea bass crudo, the flavor was ok but fish was hard and did not tasted fresh.
Pig heads sandwich is good and their pithivier delicious. Overall, entrees and main dishes result in a weird combination, stick with their cooked plates, also portions will be small. Wouldn't return, however for ok tasting food, price was fine.

I don't want to sound rude but I felt cheated by the size of the dishes compared to the price and quality. The food is good, but not amazing for that value. I recommend ordering a few dishes to share and if you like the quality and portion, order more. (The meal plates are very small). For the restaurant, I recommend that the menu say that all the dishes are appetizers, and perhaps that way people won't imagine that it is a main dish.

Cool restaurant with a very good wine menu and really great staff. However, was expensive for what you get. For example, the fried olives plate was $15 and came with 3 small balls. Why not serve 5?

The food was not good for how expensive this was.
We ended up leaving before our last 2 plates came out because the first 3 tasted bad. The oysters were fishy, the crudo was hard, chewy, and lacked flavor (bad quality fish?), and the peppers were soooo basic. There are so many wonderful places to eat in that neighborhood, I would not recommend.

The interior was not exactly that appealing but the food was yummy. The almond clam was so delicious that even my girl who usually doesn't eat clams devoured it. Beef tartare was a nice surprise, a different tweak to the usual tartare. Liked it. Recommend to try.
One thing though...staff was attentive at the beginning, but stopped once we stopped ordering. Or was it just how we felt?
