A couple years ago my boyfriend tried buffalo wings for the first time, he got the chance to do it at this place and since then he hasn’t stopped thinking about them. I loved the bagel with cream cheese and also the vegetarian pizza. We got such a good welcome and attention here and they hablan español! Espero podamos volver algún día, de verdad nos gustó mucho.

I have tried pizza in many restaurants in New York. This is pizza (cheese slice) similar to what I call the best. In restaurant have a sit place and play good chill music. Yup, it's not fashion restaurant, but one of the best in its segment!

I had stopped in here a couple times before to ask the staff questions and they were super friendly and helpful. I finally decided to get a pizza from here and it was amazing! Some of the best pizza I've had in NYC, they made it fresh, and the staff were again just super friendly. Great environment and very clean as well.

Good, ordered chef salad and bacon hamburger platter. Little delayed on delivery but overall good!
Good food, clean environment friendly service. You can bring your whole family to enjoy a meal. The breakfast is good but you have to try the turkey burger deluxe. The burger is flavorful and hits the spot everytime. Good spot for pancakes and crispy bacon.

For 27 years my family and I have frequented Wimpys on Amsterdam for mostly breakfast, very rarely dinner. They often overcook their fried eggs leaving the yoke solid. So instead we order in person because if we order on the phone the yolk is guaranteed to be solid, In person we can stop them before they're overcooked. In this instance, my husband goes over to Wimpys orders fried eggs and asks to check the eggs before the counter man packs them. HERES THE PROBLEM, the counterman slams the platter down on the counter in front of my husband with an attitude! Then proceeded to argue with my husband telling him that's how they make them. It wouldnt have been such a big deal if the counterman would of said hey, no problem give us a minute to change them. WHATS WITH THE ATTITUDE?!! RUDE! It was your mistake not ours! It appears they need some hospitality training. We will NOT be spending another red cent at this establishment ever again after 27 years. YOU DON'T TREAT PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE CRAP ESPECIALLY AFTER GETTING THEIR ORDER WRONG!!! Wimpys you get a huge thumbs down for this one!!

Nice clean place. Serves breakfast all day. Grits are runny to me (hard to eat with a fork), their beef and turkey sausages (2) with each meal are link sausages (Arnold brands).The burgers are good as well.The workers are always busy and never rude.
