Come to this place hungry and you will get your money’s worth for an all you can eat, cook it yourself soup. They have a good variety of food selection and customer service is great too. As first timers in their restaurant, one of their staff took time to explain to us how is it done and also went thru the food selection one by one. Great job to the team.

I’ve been here twice and it’s been amazing. My mom and I went for the first time recently and now I come here frequently after work. The food choices are really diverse and very filling. The playlist is honestly fun to listen as I eat and shazam a lot of the songs. The servers are all very kind and welcoming !

Absolutely love love love the place and food.
For $19 you get A LOT to eat and plenty of time to indulge in your meal. The staff was beyond amazing. They were very friendly and helpful + incredibly grateful when we chose to leave a tip since they said that as it is self service they don’t get tipped often. Please go tip these guys! Let’s uplift the staff that actually cares and puts in effort. The lobster balls and mussels were insanely good.
Bonus points: the water they had was somehow the best water I’ve had?

The majority of my reviews are 5 star reviews. If I'm giving a 1 star review, you've really ticked me off. I'm pretty easy to please at restaurants and generally very grateful for good service and good food. If I'm not happy with the food I just won't write a bad review as I value small businesses and the last thing I want to do is hurt their business.
I was really in the mood to eat here today. I walked in and the wonderful hostess told me to wait a moment before she seated me. I then told the hostess that I was going to use the restroom before being seated. I've come here multiple times and have always had a great meal. As I was walking in I asked one of the staff members where the bathroom was and he rudely explained to me that restrooms are for customers only. I was confused and taken back by the tone of the staff as I was just about to get seated anyways. I was dressed in business casual not a bum off the street, not that that should matter. I feel like I lost out on this one as I was really in the mood to eat there today but I walked out on principle because of how rude that man was. I don't even think that staff member comprehended what he did wrong. And in case management reads this he was the older gentleman maybe a manager?
I am now uncomfortable coming back here from this point on which is a shame. I love the topokki from here. Please train your staff and or have better communication between staff members.

This place is a gem for the city of New York! With the food price and such an the amount of food you get out in the public is very small. You come here, you get options! I mean OPTIONS! It’s not just Topokki, they got a whole thing going on, on the food warmer section. I was amazed and felt that I got every penny worth out of this place. Just look at the pictures others posted up. Many many options. Vegan too! An they got soju and draft beers
Owner was very friendly and welcoming. The manger was very helpful and friendly.

Overall a very mid experience, 20 dollars is pretty good for all you can eat but is it really worth it if the food is subpar?
Pros: a nice fried food bar in the corner, and there was a nice variety on toppings
Cons: the fried food bars food just tastes bland and has no flavor. The actual tteokbokki and ramen flavoring was all very similar in taste, and its easy to get tired of it quickly.
There was only 2 staff members, but the resturant was generally empty when I came for lunch, yet they were busy doing their own thing and didn't come to check up and help us with water or heating up the pot until much later on.
Its really not that bad, but there's so many better places around to use that 20 dollars on.

Our first visit to Korean Topokki in NYC was a delight! The food was flavorful, with perfectly chewy tteokbokki and vibrant flavors of the sauce, earning four stars.
The service was exceptional—five stars for the warm, attentive staff who made us feel right at home. They were super helpful and made us unstoppable how to prepare the sauce and w every thing in it. Highly recommend for a cozy, authentic Korean experience!
