Loved it — everything was delicious, and the vibe is classic Chinatown energy. A true NYC institution (it first opened in 1938) and often called the second-oldest restaurant in Manhattan’s Chinatown, just behind Nom Wah. There are no frills—just reliable, flavorful dishes that stand the test of time. Definitely one of the best spots for late-night Chinese comfort food. Can’t wait to go back!
Quite the Chinatown experience! The menu offered an over abundance of Chinese cuisine. I ordered the Sesame Chicken. The portions are large, matches the price. ? If you visit at a busy mealtime, expect a wait, it’s a small restaurant. CASH ONLY.

Parking: You’ll have to find a parking spot on the street. It may be difficult due to the location in Chinatown.

Kid-friendliness: It’s a small restaurant so not much room for a stroller or high...
This took me back to my childhood. My mom used to bring me here along with seeing the Rockettes! I brought my husband for the first time, and it did not disappoint!! Same excellent quality of food, delicious, old school Chinese from my childhood! Yesszzzz! And I was such a tourist this i bought a T-shirt! That i will wear proudly! Im still tasting the smokiness of the pork fried rice! All of the food was superb!!
