We went really early, 530 because we had skipped lunch and wanted a good piece of meat. Unlike other restaurants in New York City, I got a decent pour on my scotch! We loved the chopped salad, the filet mignon and the steam spinach. I had the pecan pie for dessert and it was excellent – not overly sweet. My wife says she loved up steakhouse you know it's exceptional. Will be back.

Celebrating my birthday! Food was good, steak a little salty. Brussels sprouts were great. Lump crab was on point. Could have done without the singing at my table but there was literally only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant. No gratuity on the dessert. Wine was great.

The only reason I’m not giving this place 1 star is because the service was good. Our server was very nice, attentive, and professional. The food was just extremely, extremely disappointing. Almost everything was cold by the time it got to our table. The rolls, the butter it came with, the sauce for our crab cakes (it had congealed when it got to us), even the steak. We ordered the steak medium rare but it was fully COLD on the inside. We ended up having to send it back because we just couldn’t eat it. The steak was also too salty, the gravy it came with was too salty, and the special bottled sauce just tasted like straight-up ketchup. The other low reviews I have seen of this place have also complained about their steak being supremely undercooked and having to send it back (sometimes multiple times). It just felt like the chef didn’t care about the kind of experience that they were giving with the food, and at this price point it just feels like such terrible value for your money.

Great food always, great service from servers, but female bartender is rude , unprofessional & ruins the high class feel of the place with her carelessness

Excellent NYC steakhouse, better than Lugers without having to travel so far... Worth getting the bacon app, steak for 2, 3 etc...the way to go...

Was good except when I went to pay- they declined all my credit cards and I was entertaining clients . Made me feel a bit like I was a crook and it turned out to be there machine. But all good.

no Air Conditioning! they text me 3 x to confirm my reservation however never mention their AC is broken. its July in NYC, can't eat dinner with 8 people on a hot night in NYC without AC. UNACCEPTABLE.

Wolfgang's is one of our favorite steakhouses in NYC. The steaks are made perfectly, the service at the 54th Street location is always out of this world, and the deserts are amazing. We have dined at this particular location at least a dozen times, including birthdays, and couldn't recommend it here highly enough. Also, Wolfgang's makes the best steak sauce bar none!

Ok food, not up to standard service, very dark. Mostly because we did not order alot it was obvious most of the waiters avoided serving our table.

There's nothing to say except Wolfgang's is delicious Portions oversized and served very professionally. The steak is excellent as are salads and sides. Everything is served beautifully.

If I wanted to be treated poorly at a steakhouse, I would've went to Peter Luger's. The steaks were mediocre, the drinks were watered down, and we mostly unattended to for the entirety of our dinner. The cherry on top was the “birthday cake” that was a plate of whipped cream and a few strawberries “on the house”
