Went here to treat my best friend for lunch @ The Grill, and had a terrible experience. Have been going to S&W for years, and never had a negative experience. The waitress was completely miserable, making the entire lunch terrible. She was rude and down right fresh. We are easy customers, ordered a couple of drinks, an appetizer, and 2 burgers, very simple. The waitress never came over to take our inital drink order, and barely was seen the entire time. When she was at the table, she was rude and miserable and in a big rush. I understand people have bad days, but we literally are easy going customers and people, and were expecting a delicious lunch like we have had every time here in the past.A total shame, will never be back. Amazing how 1 person can ruin a special lunch.

Always great to have a great steak dinner, before traveling to Asia where there's less steak. Get the porterhouse for two or the prime rib and ALWAYS get the cream of spinach and hash browns. If you have enough room in your colon get the coconut cake with a side of vanilla ice cream and a couple of espressos!

We had the round table in a secluded corner which was perfect for our party of 6. If I had sat anywhere else, I would not have liked it. So crowded. Loved our table. Server was great. Expensive. Meats were good. Nothing else was that great. Enjoyed ourselves though

I had such an amazing night and delicious food at Wollensky's grill. I am also very happy with the service and their attention to details. Monika made sure I made the right choice of the steak and it resulted to be the best steak I have ever had.A place to be definitely recommended and I will certainly be back.

Been going to Wollensky's Grill forever and it always maintains the same high standard in food, drink, service and maintaining an increasingly rare 20th-century midtown vibe. Great too that post-pandemic it is open late again, so handy.
I hadn't been here in over 10 years (I'm from the UK) and brought my 17 yr old daughter - it hasn't changed and the steak is still fabulous and the service impeccable. Wine lovely, steaks cooked to perfection and lovely sides in a charming atmosphere. Quality is the key word. If you like upscale steak restaurants in a relaxed clubby atmosphere then this is for you. Professional and confident service makes for a great meal - you know you are in good hands from the minute you step in the door. The trad NY cheesecake was light and delicious too. There were families in the night we went as well so plenty for little ones too. Especially the Max and cheese and the waffle fries. I hope to be back one day ...
