Very nice food but be prepared to queue for around 40 minutes. For food in Manhattan the price is very reasonable and the staff are friendly.
Got in late to NYC from the West Coast, thought we’d just grab some halal from Adel’s. waiting in line on 6th Avenue for around 90 minutes. Was it worth it and would I do it again? Yes and no. Whilst the food is undoubtedly tasty, we were in the city for 2 weeks and because of the extended wait times, we didn’t go back. Your call?♂️
This street food is cult. Whenever I have been nearby, I went there for a quick takeaway. Absolutely worth the waiting time in the line.
Well after hearing all of the hype, I finally decided to try Abdel's. I ordered the combo over spicy rice and a gyro combo. Coming from the Caribbean, we are well accustomed to spices and flavor and omg was this joint a miss...but I guess for a different palate, perhaps. The meals were as bland as can be and if that is supposedly the best in NYC then I guess our halal foods in the Caribbean should begin selling in NY. I'm glad that I did it though, have to try things at least once.
Very delicious oriental & American food, clean, healthy , I recommend a lot ?
Don't mind the prices which are not expensive anyway, but mind the good quality & delicious food they serve !
The manager "Mr. Nagui" is a very polite & mindful man who really cares a lot about everything from cleanliness & food quality to specially satisfying their customers .

These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.

The food is so great healthy and delicious, so friendly and helpful, thank you Rasha for your service.
The food is just average and does not live up to the expectation based on the marketing, social networks, etc. Nothing special.
After seeing reviews on vlogs on our 1st night we decided we'd try the famous Adels Halal Cart and it didn't disappoint. I had meat combo over spicy rice and my wife had meat combo over normal rice and for $10 each you really can't go wrong. Big portions that tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend. Queue was long but goes down quick enough and the food is worth queuing for.
