I’ve been going to Xe May for over a decade now and it’s still my number one banh mi spot in the city. The crusty French bread and house-made pickles are what keep me coming back. My go-to is the Lambretta, the coconut curry lamb is to die for, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything on this menu

I went there with a super foodie friend who lived for many years in the neighborhood. He told me that their bahn mi might be the best in existence, so I had to try it ?
We got the lemon grass infused chicken sandwich and it was seriously delicious ? The bread was completely superior to any other bahn mi I’ve ever tasted. The chicken marinade was amazingly pronounced. And finally just the perfect amount of spiciness.
This is a must try !
