I’m always surprised this place isn’t more crowded. Xu’s serves up classic dim sum dishes like egg custard buns, shumai, and roast pork buns in inventive twists and an elevated environment. The Snow White roast pork buns are must orders.

The only good thing about this place was the drinks and the bartender. We went for a holiday party for work and they gave us plastic utensils and small plastic plates. The food at my local Chinese spot is way better than what they had.
Terribly disappointing experience. I rarely take the time to post a review but I actually feel a responsibility to alert everyone to STAY AWAY from this restaurant! The only thing this place has going for it is that the decor is somewhat nice, especially upon first entering. However once we got inside and got settled it was actually far too hot and we asked several times for them to turn down the heat. The rest of the experience went downhill from there. The service was terrible: it took several attempts to get their attention to order. When they brought out one of our appetizers, which was supposed to be 'fried pork dumplings', we noticed a strong fish odor. Since that was not what we were interested in eating, and the smell was very unpleasant, we put dish to the side. Then the server came over to inquire if there was a problem, and we explained that it smelled like fish. He told us that they had simply gone ahead and added shrimp to the dish, which was astonishingly irresponsible given that it could have triggered someone's allergies. They took the food back, apologized and gave us a credit for that dish. The next problem arose when they brought only one entree, not the other one. I waited a long time without eating my own food to be polite to my son who had not yet been brought his dish. After at least another 10 minutes passed we had to try to flag down a waiter to ask about the second dish. It almost seemed as though they had forgotten about us. In fact, the whole wait staff seemed to be in a kind of trance. The second dish -- which was supposed to be 'garlic marinated spare ribs' -- finally arrived. However it did not appear to be marinated in anyway. Instead it was dried and breaded and not at all fresh. To top it all off, the prices for this terrible meal were too high. Finally, the women's bathroom is in a state of disrepair, with an exposed wall where the 'flushing' handle should be, and dirty floors. Overall, we came away angry, still hungry, and deeply disappointed. Save your money and your health and stay away.

A great place for some dim sum and stir fry! The interior and atmosphere is superior and the Chinese food has both authenticity and innovation. My friend and I ordered some dim sum, veggies and pancakes. All tastes good. Would definitely recommend for friend and family gatherings!

Absolutely first rate. No red paper lanterns, no touristy decor, just quiet dining. For a few minutes, loud children broke the sound barrier, but I think they were just picking up Take Out with their parents. Every morsel was delicious.
Arrived and seated without issues. Wait or spoke to us about the menu and advised options and took an order as expected. After that everything felt rushed, food came in non-specific order, nobody checked to see if we needed another drink and we were brought 2 meals for another table. Our plates were cleared without checking if we had finished and still had mains on the table. We didn't ask for the check but it was brought regardless. For a meal on Xmas day we expected better.

The waitstaff messed up my dinner order 3 times. First, they forgot to order my dinner. Then they brought the wrong dinner. Then they took another 30 minutes to bring my actual dinner. By that time I had eaten enough of my partners dinner that I was no longer hungry. I canceled my dinner, paid our tab and left.
Found Xu's service and food very good. I had a half of a Peking Duck which was savory.

I ate here a few days ago and it was great - lots of really good food for a reasonable amount of money. I ordered the same dish for take out.The take out order was about half the size for the same exact price, and they charged me an extra $3 for rice.Great to dine in, but take out is way overpriced.

This restaurant was, for lack of a better word, disappointing. Granted, we chose to dine there for Dinner on Thanksgiving, but we still had higher expectations. Apparently, the much advertised room with the glass ceiling was not open so the ambience of the first floor was less than exciting. Best part of the meal was the Starters - delicious Scallion Pancake and Chicken Potstickers. One in our party had a Szechuan dish that she declared outstanding. The Garlic Chicken was bland and not at all "garlicky." Service was perfunctory.
I took a party of 8 business clients to a dinner, and treated them to an authentic Chinese meal. The quality of food was exceptional and most importantly, authentic, despite the fact that I spanned across Cantonese, Shanghainese, and Szechuan cuisines. Service was perfect, and I think this may become a regular thing for me.
Everything we wanted in a Saturday night. The place is quiet so you can actually chat with the folks at your table, the food is great, and the service was good! We got calamari which was just perfect crispy on the outside (not too much breading) and soft l, warm calamari beneath it. The shrimp dumplings had a whole shrimp in them. The pork belly was amazing. The beef mai fun was delicious. The chicken and broccoli was nothing to write home about, but it was wonderful! Very attentive service and then a bill that didn’t break the bank at the end of the night!
