By far, this has been one of the best restaurants I have been to globally. The service was impeccable (Tomo is super awesome), the food was completely awesome, and best of all the atmosphere was approachable. If you're looking for an add-on to your typical omakase experience, visit Yamada Chikara. I shall return for what I expect to be another great dining experience overall!

対応がフレシキブルではありません。 高級店とは思えず、がっかりしました
It was just an extraordinary experience. Wonderful service, fantastic food. Definitely would like to return with more friends.
A once in a liftime experience. Absolutely great!
Insanely good, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Would absolutely recommend. Fantastic food and service.
Had a great dining experience at this restaurant. Everything was done in perfection and the attention to detail was unsurpassed. The set menu was very well planned out and executed and the fried courses did not feel heavy at all. The chef took care to introduce every dish and was very informative. It was a rainy night so we did not get to go to the backyard to enjoy the dessert courses so hopefully next time as I will definitely go back.
Some dishes just above my imagination of food. Expensive, but try it, at least once.
The environment is really great. The food is delicious and creative. It was not cheap but worth it.
Best kushiage omakase place. The staff Mr. Sato is so kind and guaranteed that you have great experiences

Absolutely one of the best non-sushi omakase experiences in NYC. Comparable to just about any place in Japan. Head chef trained with the Adria family in Barcelona... and it showed. We had the $120 option and it was plenty of food. Everything was perfectly cooked and prepared. Bravo!!
Great omakase experience. Delicious food and amazing service.
Amazing service and Food. The staff will customize your experience to make sure that you have a good experience.
I visited on a moment's whim, having made my reservation minutes before getting to the restaurant. I was immediately greeted by name and seated at the long bar. There were very few people, which seemed odd given that it was Saturday night, but it explained the ease with which I was able to reserve. Despite having read reviews, I had failed to really visualize the food: luxurious skewers of little fried bites. It is all very elegant and professionally carried out, the wine and sake pairing is equally showy. But it seemed quite underwhelming somehow, after all, it does not require much effort to make wagyu beef or uni taste delicious, and in some cases the very light batter, the frying in what I was informed was a very pure sesame oil straight from Japan, the link between all the dishes, seemed an impediment to enjoying this fine fare. I would like to emphasize that the service was very good, the entire staff kind and informed. Just not sure if I'd visit again.
