Guys you have to visit here. The owner is super warm hearted and friendly, despite his facial expressions. The bagel is the best, but the cream cheese is even better. I was shocked. The salad bar also keeps a great quality, with the owner shopping the ingredients himself. It is the best cafe and salad bar in this area!

High prices. They also gave me the wrong food. It was alright, nothing to rave about.

My favorite bagel place! The staff is super friendly! They also sell flowers, which are fresh and lovely!

Terrible bagel shop. Ridiculously over priced for stale, tasteless bagels. They charge $6 for a bagel with cream cheese. They are cheap with their spreads too. Barely a layer on the bagel that you’re paying an arm and a leg for. If you’re in the area you are much better off going to “The Bagel Shop” on 3rd Ave.

Ok. Not my go to place for sandwiches but it'll do in a pinch. A bit over priced considering neighborhood options. Wanted Tuna salad however it didn't look fresh very disappointing. As a rule, if it doesn't look fresh, people won't buy it. Take it out of the window and replace it with fresh items.

Price of bagels change every week & they overcharge & think you dont notice. Menu says $5, and I paid $7.37 cents for a normal egg and cheese bagel. Last week it was $6.50 (still expensive + overpriced). I dont think there was ever a time the price didn't increase hour to hour. This is the last time I will be coming here.

The salmon, chicken wings and corned beef were good. The bagel was dense and hard. They charge you more if you don't use cash.

Over priced! Chicken Salad is drenched in mayonnaise $.50 for onion and .50 for lettuce Don't go for food! Just get flowers.

There are many bagel shops in the area but this is where I come for my bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. After trying many a different deli this place has become my favorite. The service is quick. The bagels are big and fluffy, and the bacon/egg/cheese is on point!! My partner generally gets a rice pudding as well and it's a nice touch that you can't get at other places. It's my place to go for my fast weekend breakfasts and I'm not changing anytime soon :)

Would You Walk 5.5 miles round trip to eat at a hole in the wall bagel Cafe? Wife and I walked 2.7 miles from our timeshare on 7th and 56th to Yorkville Bagel & Cafe on 2nd and 94th. Fellow Yelper Marianne W had arrived early to grab a table. We had missed her last time in Manhattan in October due to severe allergies to pollen in the air. Marianne rushed over here and got here early, to hold two tables together. All unnecessary as the place was empty when we sat down at 9:10am on a Wednesday. My wife nodded her approval between bites on the Italian omelette with sausage, tomatoes, onions and mozzarella cheese. Marianne looked incredulous at my wife eating a freshly made bagel toasted but with no Jam no butter on it. Now I wasn't walking 2.7 miles to an ordinary bagel cafe. This place had a full scale buffet with loads of hot foods, at $12 a lb. Paid $18 for my buffet, which included a credit card service charge. Marianne looked on with envy as I wolfed down all those foods she couldn't eat: ribs covered with tomato based bbq sauce, fried egg rolls, and fried butterfly shrimp, all delicious. She would have tried the ribs if she could leave the bones in the buffet trays. She regularly eats the meatballs and basa, which I found a bit bland. Almost missed the basa, as looked like enchiladas from a distance. First time here, but Marianne W has been here several hundred times. Don't know of anyone else who has posted 1237 pictures in Yelp of a hole in the wall.
