Japanese restaurant prices, nice service, but you're left to pour your own sake with only ok sushi.The sweet corn tempura was served without pozu and was missing the smoked salt :( The corn didn't taste fresh, and was bland and on the soggy side. Perfection and high quality. Love the 3 roll special and the salmon sashimi/maki combo. I was thinking quality might have gone down due to adapting to takeout dynamics. I'm happy to report great value with the same commitment to quality.
Modest looking place on a sidestreet (115 E 9th), but the husband/wife team and their staff are so gracious and the food is flat out superb! So many Sushi places in our neighborhood and city, most of them quite good, but YUBA stands out as our absolute favorite. Many unusual menu items, always fresh, always great. LOVE This place!
