Great vibe but we caught tail end of the food service so we didn't get to try too much before the tables were cleared and the night life kicked into full gear. Great vibes and crowd!

The inside of the restaurant was thunderously loud so we headed outside where we could at least talk to each other. The tuna ceviche was interesting but I would have preferred it if it was spicier. The causa was fantastic.

Yuca Bar has been around for ages and it's easy to see why. It's been consistently delicious over the years, providing great quality food, super friendly service, and a nice ambiance that has a bit of old-school East Village left to it. We live a block away and, admittedly, hadn't been for a long time, but it was so nice tonight that I'm reminded why I always liked it, and plan to go back more often. The red sangria is delicious - I used to have their secret...
