This restaurant opened years ago, and we've always walked by, I wanted to try it, but the prices were not in our budget. Today, my husband picked me up from the train station at 125th and Lenox. We were hungry, and as we walked by Yuzu, we decided to walk in.Everything was so cozy and serene, I had the Bento box with perfect kaarage and edamame, Hubby had wagyu beef and sake

We recently moved to the area and decided to try Yuzu based on the previous reviews. We were very disappointed. The $12 Fatty Toro sashimi was a single gristley, flavorless chunk. The sushi was inartful slabs of fish on patties of dry rice. I understand the challenge of trying for nice presentation with delivery food, but there wasn't any effort made at all - no shredded daikon radish (just some soggy lettuce), no lemon slices for the scallop sashimi.Inexplicably, the price of this meal was 40% more than our local favorite in our old neighborhood where the prices for everything are generally higher than around here. We'll keep looking for a good sushi restaurant in Harlem or nearby.

First time at a sushi restaurant, so I was not familiar with the menu items. We started with shrimp gyoza, which we really liked. My son had Lobster Don, which he highly recommends. I has a bento box with chicken kara age, rice and edamame; good and very filling.

The food is really good here.Prices are quite reasonable for New York, and the quality is great. For appetizers, I highly recommend their agedashi tofu. This lightly fried tofu is topped with scallions and served in a dashi broth. It was so good we ended up ordering a second one!For rolls, they have so many delicious choices. We got their California roll, the pickled radish roll, the fried sweet potato roll, and their salmon roll. Each was excellent in their own unique way.I also have to comment on the radish they serve on the side. I really like how fresh this radishes as it is not too strong of a flavor for those who are not used to it. It is a little lighter and sweeter. If you don’t like, fishy smell, sit outside and eat, as the inside of the restaurant is a heavy fish smell. Service is a little slow as they have very few staff serving many people, but they do a good job.

Turned down me and my dog after I made the hassle of reserving online specifically saying I needed outdoor dining . They had no customers anyways. Guess they don’t want to make money

Food and service is top quality here. Laid back environment with an assortment of sushi dishes from basic California rolls to spicy salmon and tuna rolls. Also, don't forget to ask for the fish of the day.In addition to their sushi bowls they also offer small bento boxes.Their mango crepe is also a gem.

super good sushi!! right around the corner i order all the time.
The older woman who runs this restaurant is racist. I’m not sure why she or whoever owns this restaurant would have their business in Harlem if they don’t want black business. Do not spend your money here- go somewhere else where your dollar is respected.
This place used to be my favorite sushi spot in the neighborhood, but now every time we order rolls it’s more rice than fish. Very disappointed!
Food is okay however overpriced for what you get. Photos of in-person dining look great however the delivery I received was mid-low quality. Fake crab stick meat in a 6 piece roll is saddening. Portions are very small. Food was okay though.
