Very neat and welcoming spot. They provide large meals and for fair prices. I enjoyed the food very much and the staff members were very welcoming and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this spot.

We visited Raika as it was close to our hotel. It was an excellent choice as the food was wonderful and at a decent price. Service was very efficient and friendly.

Mediocre yet expensive Indian food. We ordered samosa, vegetable korma, chicken tikka and butter chicken. Samosa was a little stale, vegetable korma was very small, chicken tikka was good, butter chicken was not good, especially the colour. While the service was fine, the food quality was not, especially for their high price. Would’ve paid only half at other Indian places in the neighbourhood. Won’t come back.

Great for a friend reunion! It's right next to Grand Central Terminal and is actually affordable for the area! Solid portion sizes for sharing and the spice level is fairly mild unless you ask for some spiceee!

Came here on a Monday evening after a nice event at the Lincoln Performing Arts Center. The staff were very pleasant and very attentive when we needed anything. The food was very yummy and the quantity was excellent. Definitely will come back again.

I saw the yelp reviews and just had to give Zaika a try. I am often in mid town. My friend and I went for lunch to zaika.we are both originally from India so not too surprisingly we are quite picky about our Indian food. We were both quite thrilled with the experience. The lunch is a prix fixe menu. So a few limted choices at a price point that is not cheap but not that expensive($15). Starter + entree+ small dessertThe appetizer was cool to look at and tasty. (Dahi papri). The entree (panjabi chicken) was tasty. Did not eat the gulab jamun dessert but it looked good. My friend whose veggier similalry liked the food so we both now have a place in mid town to eat at!! I also liked the fact that the hostess immediately offered to check my backpack and coat.Ill be returning for sure

Our favorite in NY! Everything was flavorful and delivery through Grubhub was on time!

Tonight, I ordered a Shahi Paneer, noticed it on the receipt when paying that they had charged for Palak Paneer. I asked the hostess, a young female, why they had charged for Palak paneer instead of Shahi paneer and she said "oh they're the same thing". After taking it home, I realized that definitely wasn't true since this dish is spinach based. The food seemed fine, but the ordering mistake and blatant lying was definitely a turn off from the restaurant.

Could have been better- taste, service & portions. My feel is lack of eagerness to serve & feed it's clientele- although its pay & get relationship purely commercial so also is the Doctor/ Nurses relationship with their patients. Food out of 5 vegetable dishes two were just not palatable. The white gravy tasted as the stench of wet clothes sealed in a bag for two weeks and then you wear them.

I've been ordering lunch take out from here on MealPal. It's a solid lunch option. My only complaint is the foo us could be hotter temperature wise. Today I had the chicken Tikka Masala with dal rice and nan. The sauce is so good that I try to consume every last drop out of the container. The chicken was cooked nicely and juicy. I would like moree spice and heat but it is a still really good. The Dal lacked flavor but was edible. The nann was delicious and great for dipping in the Tikka sauce. The Biryani rice was fine. It's a good value. I have noot don bed inside but it looks nice. I will have to try dining in the Restaurant next.

Relaxing place and incredibly fresh, interesting, and savory food. The mustard greens and spinach vegetarian dish popped with ginger.

On our trip to New York we had the best food at Zaika with delicious dishes and extremely friendly and respectful service never seen before. The staff was very jovial and interactive with the customers. The entire ambience was very peaceful and relaxing. This is a must visit restaurant of New York, you can't miss this on your trip. We were lucky to have found this restaurant on our first day of trip. Everything worked out so great.

I have no idea what they do to their food here.... but it is absolutely unbelievably delicious. It was like a party in my mouth, and I loved every single bite. Who ever thought that something as simple as channa could taste this amazing? I genuinely would not look twice at this restaurant if I walked by it as the ambiance is bizarre.... but ignore that side of it. Go to this restaurant simply for the delicious food.
