This was the worst bagel i’ve ever had in NYC, equivalent to a grocery store pack bagel and the worst cream cheese for $6. terrible.

my eggs were so rubbery it was actually laughable. but. the corn muffin and the almond croissant were great. and my mom liked her sausage egg and cheese. so maybe they just messed mine up! challah was yummy!
Terrible experience at Zaro’s Bakery in Port Authority NYC!
The price of Jeremy J sandwich is no were to be found and surprise it’s a 14.30 $ bagel. The employee was rude/ unprofessional with a bad attitude when I asked him for a paper towel to clean the tables as they don’t clean any after the previous customers leave. I wouldn’t recommend, bad service bad attitude and don’t clean or reset the tables between customers.

Terrible experience. If I could give this place a negative rating, I would.
This morning, I was on my way to a very important Zoom interview when my bus got stuck in traffic, delaying me by 40 minutes. I was running late, so I rushed into this café, hoping to buy a coffee and have a place to sit down for my interview. I respect the rule that you need to make a purchase to sit, so I queued up, but there were six people in front of me, and I only had a minute left before my interview started. Realizing I wouldn’t have enough time, I decided to sit down and begin my interview, planning to buy coffee right after.
Mid-interview, an employee came over and interrupted me, telling me I had to buy something or leave. I explained that I had tried to line up, but there were too many people, and I was in the middle of an important interview. I promised to buy something as soon as I was done, but they wouldn’t listen. They came back again during my interview, this time shouting at me to leave, completely ignoring my explanation and plea for just a few more minutes. The interruption threw me off, and I felt so frustrated and upset that I couldn’t continue the interview properly. This was my only interview opportunity after months of searching for a job in New York.
However, I am incredibly grateful to the couple who helped me. The man stepped in and said, “I’ll pay for her,” allowing me to return to my seat. He and his partner even brought me a croissant and water, which was so thoughtful, especially since I hadn’t had breakfast after rushing out early this morning. I couldn’t thank them properly at the time, as I was still in my interview, but I want them to know how much their kindness meant to me. I truly appreciate their help and wish them all the best.
As for this café, I will never come back, even if I’m starving. I don’t recommend anyone visit here. The way they treat people is appalling; they only see “paying customers” and have no respect for a person’s humanity. If anyone doubts my story, check your CCTV footage from October 17, 2024, between 10:30-10:50 AM.

Stumbled into Zaro's for a coffee after a long day of traveling. Couldn't resist the fresh croissants. My daughter loves
Home made soft pretzels. We ended up coming here everyday of our trip for breakfast. The coffee and everything we ate was delicious each time and the staff was so kind. The line seemed to long us Alaskans, but the crew was professional and speedy each time. Such a gem of a place to find in this big city!

We had to walk through a cloud of flies as we left the store, and we counted three walking on the bagels. Other than that, the bagel was warm and decently filled.

Standard bagel, nothing mind boggling but there was a bit too much cream cheese. Very busy atmosphere.

Staff are nice. But the people who prepare food touch everything with their gloves. Ew, they should change gloves

Worst coffe ever
my bagel was absolutely disgusting. I asked for a toasted bagel with butter which they got wrong twice and once I got it, (which I had asked for it to be extra toasted), it came burnt-- not even toasted but soft and burnt-- and the butter was such an excessive amount that I tasted more butter than bagel. So gross- will never be going again lol
