You'd expect an Hispanic place to be spiced up with the food, but the food was very bland.

Great little Mexican spot with creative cocktails and small plates. Their take on queso was delicious!

We had a fun and tasty dinner here the other night! My wife had an awesome skinny margarita, we loved their chips and salsa, chicken quesadillas and the baby arugula & pear salad w/
baby arugula, caramelized pears, toasted pecans,
pomegranate seeds and warm goat cheese with balsamic
vinaigrette. It's very cozy, we sat at the small bar downstairs but they have a nice upstairs space as well. Go!

This place is rather average. Nothing special. Nothing terrible. Just average. I do not plan to return or recommend.

Loved the intimacy of the space and the attentiveness of the bartender Sebastian. Great cocktails (try the Mexican Porn Star and the Coconut Margarita!) and very quick service for food. A favorite spot.

Came here for my birthday drinks with friends. I've been here before a couple of years ago and it's a cute, quaint spot with great mezcal/tequila drinks. My favorite is the Spicy Rabbit! That's a cocktail served in a coupe with a mini carrot (real!) On the rim. Check out the photos!

Had 2 specialty cocktails. Perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and bitter. Wolf pack and some kind of spicy marg. ambiance is very cool gothic renaissance type stuff. Bartender and waiter were both welcoming.

Mayamezcal is a super cute, intimate spot in the East Village for hand-crafted tequila cocktails & delicious food!! My friends and I sat at the bar after coming across this spot while wandering around the East Side, and I'm so glad we did! The bartenders took great care of us + the vibes inside this place were immaculate during our visit. For appetizers, the Maya Nachos were my favorite (the muenster cheese really makes it)!!
