I’ve been coming to this restaurant so many times until I found a NAPKIN in my food. How did I know it was napkin? Cuz I gave it a bite🙃 that was so gross. and you can even see the texture of napkin. And they asked me to get another bowl, I thought that was a way to compensate, but I was asked to pay for it in the end, like the napkin never existed.
I like the food but will not go back again.

I had extremely high expectations since I loved the philadelphia location of this food chain where the take out are super enjoyable too even after long period of time. However, this location is just absolutely disappointing and the lady at the front desk was just rude too. First of all, I would like to just question why mild flavor has red pepper coating everything with chili oil coating the whole bottom on the take out box? Second of all, if I ordered it pick up, shouldn’t i still be able to dine in…

It always hits the spot. The food is always fresh and the employees always fills up the food. Compared to other Malatang spot this is far better they have a location in flushing too but are great but this location is more convenient. Whenever I’m craving some dry pot or soup I go here and satisfy my craving.

Super delicious and may had led me to have a mala drypot addiction lol. The self-serve is very convenient and is based on weight. I consider myself to have medium-high spice tolerance (as an American), but I can only manage mild spice level. The food is always delicious and great for lunch/dinner.

It was good bit I quite expected to have more meat choice than beef. The soup is okay I ordered mild spicy but I expected it to be a little bit more concentrated but overall is good.

Great food at a decent price. Better to go with friends and options are pretty open.

If you don’t accept pickup order on line, just close the pickup feature! I was already on my way to pick up the order! Wasting my time!

I’ve been a loyal customer who regularly dines in and orders takeout at the same time. The usual manager is always kind once, she even replaced my meal without me asking when I mentioned it was too spicy. That kind of thoughtful service kept me coming back. But today, I had a terrible, terrible experience with a new cashier manager , and her attitude completely changed how I feel about this place.

There was a different lady manager at the cashier today, and her attitude completely ruined it for me. The rest of the staff were nice. I ordered two takeout meals totaling $65, and as usual, I was making sauces for myself . They provided a very small cups it’s fine, but honestly, it’s too small. In the past, they’ve given me a slightly larger cup when i requested them .
This time, the cashier refused to give the larger one and handed me a cup that was only slightly bigger than the smallest size. I mean I totally understand if they don’t want to give out the large one. So I politely asked for one more cup since I ordered two meals. That’s when she gave me a look like I was asking for something outrageous and said “this is not how it works” and stuffs .Her customer service was absolutely terrible.

What’s worse is that the younger staff were still friendly, and I could tell they wanted to help, but they held back because the manager was giving them looks not to do anything extra.

I really appreciated the usual manager lady who was always kind and accommodating. But this new lady’s attitude? No thanks. You don’t treat loyal customers like that over something as simple as sauce especially when they’re spending $65.

Never coming back. You just lost a regular.

I've been coming back to this spot again and again — it's that good. I’ve only tried the stir-fried hotpot option so far, and it never disappoints. The flavors are bold and satisfying, and there are plenty of ingredients to customize it exactly the way you like.

The service is quick, and the staff are friendly and helpful, especially if you're new to hotpot and need a little guidance. Highly recommend if you're in Chinatown and craving something comforting and full of flavor.
