There are many options in little Italy, but I picked this one after reading their menu online. Incredibly fresh seafood, the pasta was fresh, the pizza appetizer was amazing. Nice presentation and table side service on a few of the specials. Our waiter, Verano, was awesome. No need to shop around, just go to Zia Maria.

From a tourist, this place hit the spot in Little Italy. We didn't know where to go, and it is on a street with many men trying to sell you their restaurant. The gentleman in front of this place was very friendly and not pushy. Checked the reviews and said let's give it a try. Glad we did. For a week day lunch, many people inside. Got the calamari, pizza, and pesto gnocchi to share and all was delicious. Solid service too.

I had an amazing experience at Zia Maria! The manager. Ronny was outside and convinced us to dine here because he was so friendly and charming. When we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my meal.
Now the food—wow. My favorite was the branzino , which was tender, seasoned perfectly, and tasted like something crafted with real care. The chicken parmesan was delicious also. The passionfruit martini was smooth and sweet. The espresso was packed with a punch.
Everything came out hot, timely, and full of flavor. The portions were generous without feeling overwhelming, and the prices felt more than fair for the quality.
I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for a place with delicious food, great service, and a cozy vibe, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

I had a really bad experience at Zia Maria Little Italy. The food was extremely disappointing. The shrimp scampi pasta came out cold and not cooked well at all, and the pasta had a weird taste with absolutely no flavor. We also ordered the arancini and a cheese pizza, and even those weren’t good — the cheese was way too salty.
On top of that, the food is very expensive for the quality you get, and the restaurant itself is small and uncomfortable. I will never go back to this restaurant and definitely don’t recommend it.
