Had some time to kill before our dinner reservations and stumbled upon Zinc Bar! So happy we stopped in for a couple of drinks. The bar had cool old school vibes & delicious cocktails!

The live music was amazing and the history lesson in the beginning was very nice. The 3 stars are for the live music and the history lesson. As well as half of the drink proceeds going to immigration services. We had a good time BUT as I was paying my bill, the lady tried to SCOLD me for a higher tip! She stated that “most people tip x amount” I told her well I am tipping this because our server did not check on us at all, I had to get up multiple times to order more drinks and food. Which they only have the tiniest flatbreads and she said “I’m going to call her over here and you can tell her that” as if calling our waiter over was going to change anything. The lady charging my card wasn’t even our server!! I told the server the same thing, that she was very nice but did not check on us not once and I had to get up to order more rounds multiple times. The server was fine, the one charging me was not. I don’t know if she went in herself and put the tip she wanted but according to my bill, I tipped $55 which was 25% of the bill. More than enough for someone who did not provide good service.
Great vibes and martinis, they have live jazz but I’ve honestly only stayed in the front of the bar.

An electric venue — incredible staff, gorgeous interior and s/o Samuel Torres and band for a night of unforgettable latin jazz. And, a delicious espresso martini to boot!

This is where I spent part of my new year's eve/new year's day. This place reminds me of cliff bells in detroit.

Definitely love the variety of drinks! Went there last week and definitely see myself coming back if around the area and having a few drinks. The only thing I would say is that the bread they have is good but very very small. If thinking to share you’re better off getting two. They also have performances on the night and it’s a $35 cover, different from the bar itself.

Unfriendly staff. I didn’t even stay to give it a try, the first impression was already spoiled.
The Brasilean band was supposed to start at 9 PM last night. But they started 45 minutes later. I did have an excellent caipirinha. The band was just a trio. The main leader from São Paulo who was doing the drumming and the singing had a terrible voice especially in English. I wanted to hear Brasilean songs in Portuguese not in English! But the worse was the drumming- so disturbing to my ears that I had to use my ear pods to protect myself. The band leader talked to much and sang too little. It was a rather short program for a $35 cover. I haven’t been at the Zinc Bar
for at least three years since the renovation and It was disappointing. Except for the caipirinha.

I waited for a year to make it to Zinc after a surgery, i finally went on Friday and brought a friend. A simple question at the entrance was handled unecessarily rude. I didn't get to enjoy a drink or any music. This left me with a bad taste in my mouth. If anyone cares at all about this, it was the employee with the Hat- even if he is the owner he should not treat people that way. I am a musician who also studied business in school, i definitely know that this not how any customer should be treated.
I visited Zinc Bar for the first time and the experience was disappointing from the moment we approached the bar. The music and atmosphere were solid, but the service was unexpectedly hostile. The bartenders were noticeably unfriendly, avoided acknowledging us, and placed our drinks down with visible irritation.
What made the situation worse was the contrast in how other guests were treated. We watched multiple groups receive warm, attentive service while we were ignored. Given that we are Black, it was hard not to feel singled out. Whether intentional or not, the difference in treatment was obvious and uncomfortable.
A place can have good music, but respectful service matters. Based on this experience, I would not return and cannot recommend Zinc Bar.

Went sat at the bar, got lucky and was able to sit right in the middle, super friendly staff. Went specifically to try the Frank Sinatra Espresso Martini, it was amazing, the chocolate was special and gave it a perfect dessert taste at the end. Next I tried the Stranger in the Night. Super well balanced I recommend it if you like citrus with your mango.

Strange, sexist treatment from Joe the bartender tonight. Seemed happy to tend to some patrons and even let them in without a cover charge all while totally ignoring others yet insisting they pay the cover.
I came visiting from FL - our server was very sweet and she made sure we had everything we need. For the most part all the servers are very attentive.
However, there is a bartender with glasses who was just absolutely terrible. He was always on his phone, eating garnished from the bar, and just made terrible drinks. If you order a drink, ask for another bartender to make it.
Other than that, very cool and nice bar. I'd recommend asking another bartender to make your drink.
