The food was fine. Pretty typical for a “good” sushi place, wayyyyy overpriced. The staff had good manners but weren't very considerate. Made reservations for a table and then were relegated to the sushi bar which made conversation extremely difficult. I wouldn't go again nor would I recommend it.

This Zuma really needs to get back to its roots! The welcome felt flat and uninviting. I was happy to find the soft-shell crab and toro sushi — both were good — but the chicken satay and grilled skewers were completely bland. Service felt rushed, almost mechanical, and nothing like the atmosphere you find at Zuma in Hong Kong, London, or Istanbul. The kitchen clearly needs a reset. The whole “sharing” concept makes no sense when you can't even serve corn with the chicken, or when sushi arrives after the hot dishes instead of before. At this point, it's simply not worth the price. Such a shame to see what used to be a beautiful dining experience sink into mediocrity.

I love Zuma. Zuma was normally one of my go to spot. I even held a private dinner their last year for my boyfriend‘s birthday that's how much I love the food the ambience and everything however, my last visit was unpleasant. The wait time was lengthy. The food was mediocre, and the waiter took so long to take our orders that I had to contact a manager! The lobster came out before the appetizer it was just a mess. However, I may visit again, so hopefully, the service will return to what I expected.

Cocktail felt booze free, table was away from the main dinning room. Waiters excellent. Overall felt ripped off though :(

This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had at Zuma. The service was horrible, we looked for the servers as if they were hiding from us and even when we mentioned it for the second and third times, we felt completely ignored. The food was extremely disappointing as well, to the extent of returning 2 dishes and eating another mediocre quality 4. It was my friend's birthday, which no one has acknowledged until the very end, when they brought a little ice cream to the table. Funny enough, it was the one item we really enjoyed that night. The bill was $250... for that kind of food and service, it was a complete disgrace. Will not be coming back. My friend's had reservations there with her partner later that month, and she ended up canceling it, due to the poor experience we had.

Place was so good food and service was 10/10 and the food was flavored well and presented elegantly

Way too loud and blaring music in the second floor. we had been once before and enjoyed it, but that was dining on the first floor. I would never again sit upstairs and found it offensive at that time of day to be dealing with all that music couldn't even hear the people sitting across from us. The waiter was poor, compared to the experience downstairs. Did not explain the menu seemed to have very little interest and was only periodically by.

We ordered the Seasonsl Omakase. $195 pp plus tax/tip. WORTH EVERY CENT. Stand outs started with perfectly crisped calamari and a scrumptious salad that included eggplant. The salmon carpaccio was soooooo good The cold lobster roll was just meh. Lobster was chilled and hard and rather tasteless. The sauce it was in was great though. From there food arrived where our tastebuds were treated to a party of amazing tastes, textures, stunning presentations over and over again. The soft and perfectly cooked cubes of prime rib in an onion sauce, the bass in a pool of exquisite sauce, charred asparagus - so yummy. And that TOWER of desserts/fruits. We couldn't leave without setting everything. That chocolate lava cake - OMG that coconut custard with slices of mango? I wish we could start all over. These are only a few of the dishes we had. Wonderful wonderful dinner. Very memorable. Even the apple juice my husband ordered tasted like it was juiced fresh from an apple. Probably not, but it sure tasted and looked different than any apple juice we ever had. So fresh! Finally the wait service was IMPECCABLE. A wonderful evening. Wish I could give more stars. Oh and the restaurant itself is gorgeous. Just going upstairs to the ladies lounge - you feel like you are in some surreal movie. Wonderful is the only word I can think of to describe the whole evening. Very special.

Hey: We took our NYC family here. They never heard of the restaurant. We all came away thoroughly impressed. So many different flavors to share. The old fashion (with Bullit Bourbon was phenomenal). Yes we are coming back the next time we are in NYC. LIE

California roll had mayo inside the roll with the king crab. Couldn't taste the crab bc of that. The drink was filled like the size of a shot Glass, could tell wasn't even a shot of tequila in the drink, and barely any mango juice - a huge mango ice cube but not sure how you “drink” that. Chilean sea bass was ok -nothing crazy. Baby chicken dish was meh.

We were really looking forward to this reservation - unfortunately, this dining experience was defined by poor service. We regularly felt neglected during dinner which unfortunately overshadowed our whole Zuma experience

I had high expectations for today's visit, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. Despite having a confirmed reservation, I wasn't offered a standard table and was instead shown only a few chef bar options. This was not what I had anticipated when making the booking. There was no explanation or apology, and the overall handling felt indifferent. A disappointing experience, especially when you arrive expecting a proper table and a pleasant meal.
