I love Zuma. Zuma was normally one of my go to spot. I even held a private dinner their last year for my boyfriend‘s birthday that's how much I love the food the ambience and everything however, my last visit was unpleasant. The wait time was lengthy. Way too loud and blaring music in the second floor. we had been once before and enjoyed it, but that was dining on the first floor. I would never again sit upstairs and found it offensive at that time of day to be dealing with all that music couldn't even hear the people sitting across from us. The waiter was poor, compared to the experience downstairs. Did not explain the menu seemed to have very little interest and was only periodically by. 
We ordered the Seasonsl Omakase. $195 pp plus tax/tip. WORTH EVERY CENT. Stand outs started with perfectly crisped calamari and a scrumptious salad that included eggplant. The salmon carpaccio was soooooo good The cold lobster roll was just meh. Lobster was chilled and hard and rather tasteless. The sauce it was in was great though.
