It’s great that they’re training new personnel but when I ask for a drink, I expect that an experienced barista would prepare an espresso drink, not a newbie. That’s just not right and the drink turned out bad

When I first moved to this neighborhood I loved zuri coffee cuz they simply made great espresso based anything. The quality declined in the past six month drastically. The latte had too little milk in it, even less than a cappuccino and was over heated.
One time, I politely asked a staff member to add a decent amount of milk so it would actually taste like a latte. She rolled her eyes at me and replied coldly, “What do you mean? The milk is enough.”
Come on. It’s not. You should taste it yourself. It was horrible. And if you don’t like your job, just quit. Save the attitude for someone else not your customers!

Delicious neighborhood spot for morning coffee- with Swiss charm and elegance. I had a Cortado and cinnamon roll. It was one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had.

Best coffee on the upper east side. Great service great staff extremely friendly. I love sitting down and enjoying my morning and afternoon coffee here.
Coffee itself is really good, no complaints there. Service could be better though — they forgot my order and I had to remind them after a few people who ordered later already got theirs. Also, not much space to wait around for your drink, which makes it a bit uncomfortable.
Overall, nice coffee but the experience could definitely be smoother.

It’s such a favorite place of mine but they keep messing up my order when it’s busy.
Gave me a latte (I requested oat milk) and it was whole milk which really upset my stomach. Didn't realize it either till too late but that was annoying cause their coffee is expensive.
Second time was when I was clarifying what kind of muffins they had. The sign was wrong and person swore up and down that the muffin (it didn’t look like it)I requested was a banana walnut muffin, she gave me a pumpkin…wasn’t bad but again-not correct.
I just feel when they’re busy, they have new people who don’t know how to manage the crowd and leads to mix ups and I walk out spending $14+ on an order that’s incorrect.
No complaints about the food or coffee-it’s fantastic. But the service can be questionable depending who’s working there.
