“Good place with very friendly staff. A whiskey flight is only $5! Spirits are all delicious... their rye has a great heat to it & fantastic flavor. A few of their whiskeys have a very unique grain called triticale, which seems to add a little sweetness in a great way. My friend ordered their bloody mary & said it was fantastic. If they have it... the heirloom rye.... wow... you've gotta try it... awesome is not an accurate enough description...“
“Great restaurant in the middle of Newark. This was our first visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior is split into a main dining room in back and bar in front with the kitchen in between. My fish sandwich was very good, on a nice soft bun with lettuce, tomatoes and raw onions. The better half's julienne salad was big enough for two, with more toppings than lettuce. Their Italian Wedding Soup was tasty, but a bit too salty for her taste. The Shrimp Bisque was delicious.Parking: Large parking lot on the side of the building.“
