What a pleasant surprise to find this quaint, little coffee shop in Newark. All of the pastries, scones, and breads in the cases looked wonderful. I had a very thick, delicious piece of pumpkin bread. It looks like a perfect place to hang out but unfortunately I was not able to do that today.

Stopped in to try breakfast today. The breakfast sandwich made me feel at home with yummy perfectly toasty outside with gooey buttery melted cheese inside. And the puff pastry was amazing! Such a great treat.

The coffee is from local roasters & is so flavorful & rich, you will want a cup every day. From the baked goods to the sandwiches, wraps, and soups, they are the absolute best. And don't forget the special Friday night dinners which are made by Deb....delicious! But what makes Grind-On Coffee so distinctive is the staff and their unique personalities. This is a great place to go whenever you are in Newark.
