The worst subway I've been to the bread was dry their toaster oven is still broke

Placed an order in the morning to be picked up that afternoon; order was canceled via email by the store 10 minutes before pickup time with no explanation. Thankfully there are many better alternatives in Newark now, even if my kids had asked specifically to have Subway for the first time in years. We learned our lesson about giving them any business.

They didn't know how to make protein bowls. Never heard of that. So they made a sub but it only had meat only. My husband didn't watch them making . It was bad, so I made a salad with the meat at home. My husband wanted a meatnall sub and he had to tell them how to make it.If I could give 0 stars I would. You need to teach them how to make your food on your menu or get new people.

Their employees are great no issue there. But if you plan to get a hot sub that is actually hot look elsewhere. Their oven has been broke for months now and apparently the owner has better things to spend his money on. They will tell you that it works, and it does warm the bread, but you will have disgusting cold meat every time. Be wise and go to wegmans.
Very dissatisfied with teenage staff. Slow, not very helpful. Messy sandwiches and when told napkin dispenser was empty, just handed me a couple and went back to their phones
They charged me for a foot long holiday cookie. I guess they did not have any. It was a mobile pick up order and instead of them saying something when I picked up the order or offer to change it to a different cookie they let me walk out. We don't live in that area and when I called the person was rude about it and did not even say sorry or offer to refund the money I know it was a $5 cookie but this is not good customer service and I will not go back to that location again
You place your order online, and they still get it wrong. This place is unbelievable. This is the 3rd time I have ordered there, and it is the 3rd time they get it wrong!!! I gave they 3 chances to get 1 sandwich right. I'm never going back there again!

Not sure why they have a toaster since every time you go there it’s broken. Staff has been polite and accommodating but are always stuck with broken equipment. Buy a new toaster please.

We came to Subway last week and got subs. We were planning on getting hot subs but they're toaster was not working. I stopped in again a little bit more than a week later. Their toaster is still broken. I asked the employee if they baked their bread here daily. I used to work at a similar type of store. She said that they did bake their bread daily in the oven. I asked her why they weren't using the oven to toast things for the time being. The employee seemed baffled and said they didn't use the oven because it took longer. In my mind it seems a bit asinine. Yes it might be inconvenient walking back to the oven. The location that I usually go to is on West Union Street in Newark it's not a very busy area. I felt the employee was just unwilling to use the oven. She may have been told by her management that they couldn't do that. Therefore I am giving them a very poor report.

Every single time we order from here, and I mean EVERY single time they get it wrong. I ordered a steak sandwich and somehow got chicken, wrote in the notes that we don’t want our food drenched in sauce and what do they do? Drench it. This is ridiculous, need to hire someone that actually knows how to read and do their job. Absolutely horrible.

Ordered a ham and cheese sub tonight and guess what it was missing the cheese. The bread was also hard and stale and didn't even taste like it was made today

Ive been coming to this location for over 20 years. Dont try to get a sandwich anytime after 730 bc even tho they are supposed to be open till 9/10 the staff put everything away hours before tye store closes. This has happened ro me on several occasions lately including tonight and im.just over it. Kid even got an attitude brought up the fact they do this. Born and raised in newark, loved tue subway for literal decades but they lost my business for good tonight. Whoever owns tye place heres a tip. Hire some ppl that want to work abd that ain't worried about getting outta work asap in doing so screwing your customers. Newark isnt very bg. I wonder how long Subway will last with this type of behavior fron the staff.
