we have gone to this diner for years but our most recent visit was a disappointment. we had to wait a long time for our meal as we watched customers who came in after us receive and eat their food before our food came out. The food itself was good but the wait was too long. It wasnt even that packed, our waitress acknowledged our waiting by sayinfg our food would be out soon.

My boyfriend and I visit for breakfast, lunch, and occasionally dinner. Today, we came for breakfast during our staycation. This establishment has always provided excellent food and service. Our waitress was Grace. She was very kind and attentive. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, Western omlette. My boyfriend ordered grilled cheese tomatoes with fries. Both were equally delicious. I also loved that other staff members visited all of the tables to refill coffee to anyone needing it. I loved it. At other places, I've had to chase people around for a simple refill. Not here. They take good care of you. We've come here for ten plus years and will continue. It's the best Diner around.

Neat place. Gives a small town old school diner feel. Seems clean and taken care of. Food came out quick. Menu is pretty good except they don’t notate there’s ham in one of the paninis I chose. So I had to send it back but no problem was given. Waitress was really kind and sweet. Fair prices with generous servings. Plenty of parking available and has ramp for wheel chair accessible.

Was a wonderful experience eating here at Alexis Diner! Our waitress was exceptional, courteous and prompt! Food was great and priced very reasonably!
We were on a mini road trip and saw this place just as we were about to head to McDonald's. We were seated quickly, our order was taken promptly and water was served with our drinks without needing to ask. The waitress was very nice and the food was out to us fairly quickly. My friend and I decided to share a sampler; she ordered a side of mac n cheese with bacon, and I, a side of waffle fries with cheese. I was offered a selection of cheeses, and I chose American. When the food came out I was a little surprised to see the cheese was just sliced American cheese just slapped on top and a little over-broiled. I'm not one to complain about small things, and I did say American cheese...what was I really expecting?!? The mac n cheese was much more than a side order but again, why complain?! The mac had little to no flavor and the sauce was a little chunky. The sampler comes with zucchini fries, which were gross and soggy, we left those. The chicken tenders were like something from a school lunch. When we were ready to go, we had to flag down our waitress, who was chatting it up with a family in our section for way too long. Not worth the $54.

I only had a huge dinner salad and it was delicious. I was also impressed that they had fat free salad dressing. The waitress was very nice & made sure to check in to see if we needed anything else. Would definitely go back to this diner.

I had the Rueben with pastrami and man...that's good stuff!! Very friendly staff in a good NY Diner establishment. It's only open until 11:00 pm so don't wait until the last minute to get filled up. Also, keep in mind that most of the true dinner items and specials are only served until 9:00 pm
