“Try this place. There’s a pool table, dart boards, and don’t get me started on the food. Definitely try the birria tacos, or the loaded fries. The bartenders know what they are doing and the place is CLEAN. Karaoke on Wednesdays, DJs, local events.“
“We just came here again and picked up two set of wings, all flats (there is an extra fee BTW). The honey lemon pepper is the way to go. We asked for them fried hard and they came exactly like that. Regular, NORMAL SIZED and amazingly fried chicken wings. The sauce was godsend. I really need to know who the chef is during the lunch hours, which is the best time to go IMO (Though I've only came during lunch hours). I'll definitely be back again. Don't sleep on Whoo's!!!!! I'm not accepting any slander on their wings....“
“I started coming here about a year ago and I truly enjoy coming here on Saturdays. Each Saturday is usually Latin night and I enjoy the music atmosphere and staff! I must say each time I have come here I have enjoyed the atmosphere drinks and people. I enjoy that it’s a very accepting place of all people and you can have fun!! Definitely one to check out if you haven’t come. Parking is free too!“
“We stopped in on our way to the arts center and we’re blown away! The vibe was great, and so was the food….. what stole the show though; our waitress Barbara! It was honestly so nice to see her work and do her thing with the customers. She was so attentive to us and really was so kind. Helped us through the menu and thanks to her we really loved the Ricky Bobby wings. If your considering a place in town- this is IT!“
“Situated in an old ammunition depot, the recently renovated first class, or "firstie", club has a much more exclusive and bespoke feeling than the days of yore. Gone are the sticky floors, the dripping roof from the back room, the broken foosball tables, the jukebox that seemed to host only various versions of the song, "Wagon Wheel", or the bartenders that would serve you a pitcher of Jack and a pitcher of Coke on a Thursday just because you asked for it. taco Tuesday and wing Wednesday are pretty popular, as is Thursday evening following spirit dinner when the place is packed with the sons and daughters of slum and gravy. Extensive selection of beer on tap, and the menu is generally very good. Their version of a clucking Russian is as good and attempt at re-creating perfection as I have seen. Worth a visit.“
“If you’re looking for a great hole in the wall, old school, bar and grill, this is the place to go. The bartenders are friendly. The food is fantastic. The owner always has a smile and the people that hang out there are just the salt of the Earth. Also, the bar menu is great! Everything on it is yummy and highly recommended.Parking: The parking lot is easily accessible. Also, in the winter they always make sure the snow is cleared before they open. Never have any problem parking here except for maybe when it’s crowded.Wheelchair accessibility: The side door is wheelchair accessible.“
“What a wonderful time I had Friday night listening to Hillbilly Parade. The music was just wonderful and the setting was so enjoyable. Turtle Creek staff really did a great job serving the BBQ and the bartenders efficiently served beverages.. The gardens were just beautiful with the peonies in full bloom. Definitely will be back to enjoy other events they have and stop by for a drink and food!“
“Beautiful spot on the Hudson River! We went to the Zulu Rooftop for drinks and a light dinner. Gorgeous views and a nice menu. They were busy and understaffed. But we were waited on by Kilee, a new employee, and she could not have been more delightful, friendly, and willing to find out about specific requests! The manager stopped by our table several times just to make sure everything was going well and apologized for any wait time due to staffing shortages. But the view was perfect, the food and drinks were great and Kilee was a breath of fresh air! We look forward to going back!“
