We went to Beso on Saturday afternoon for a family lunch. While waiting to order we asked if we could have some chips (always a staple at a Mexican restaurant, right?). Wrong. The waitress advised there was a charge for chips. She said she could bring chips with three different salsas at a price of $8.98. Er agreed and were presented with five round corn tortilla sized chips and three minuscule round dishes of Salsa. Ridiculous!
We then ordered an assortment of tacos. Tiny portions and you would have to eat at least two. We also ordered rice and black beans, which were tasteless and right out of the can.
Don’t wasted your time or money. This restaurant is not worth it! Also, it was freezing with cold air seeping through plastic drop down.

I loved the place, and especially, Angela's service was the best and made the night even better with her personality. I wish there were more people like her.

Horrible food — would not recommend. The food was bland and completely lacking in flavor. Service was very disorganized when bringing out the food, and to make things worse, we were overcharged when paying the bill. We ended up paying $70 for 10 tacos, 2 drinks, and chips with guacamole — definitely not worth it. The only nice thing was the view.
Alana is absolutely amazing! She makes the perfect drinks every time and always greets us with such great energy. She’s super attentive, outgoing, and genuinely makes the experience at Beso Taco Bar even better. Honestly, we come here because of her! (Though the rest of the staff is great too 😊) — Alana just goes above and beyond every single time. Highly recommend stopping by and asking for her!

Bartenders are excellent when place is overrun. Dining, was fine, the carne asada was meh, under marinated, too tough, looked like a dinosaur's skin. Chicken was best protein. Idk why fries are on the menu, get rid of em. Yucca fires is enough.

This place seriously needs an overhaul with their wait staff. Haven't had an issue with food or drink when I'm at the bar and at least the bartenders are friendly. I'm pretty sure this place has no manager considering when one had to be called over from their sister restaurant next door and that person was running around visibly frustrated and it was very hard not to notice. I believe this to be an overall management issue and I'm always surprised whenever I happen to stop in that something hasn't changed. My suggestion, if you want a good drink and a very quick bite then sitting at the bar will satisfy more than a lengthy stay at a table.

Nice waterfront dining! We've been twice for happy hour and i can't recommend it enough. The dollar tacos are delicious and the half price margs are so refreshing. We also tried some apps that were amazing. The food comes out very quickly.

Queso fundido, guac, and tacos, yes also then cocktails were delicious - and you cannot beat the views! Our spot at the end of the restaurant was quieter and cozy. Wonderful time! Took home the Mexican hot chocolate cake (fyi, it's tiny but yummy!)

I come here semi often with friends. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar if you want to have an enjoyable time, Alana is an outstanding bartender and fun to talk to.
My biggest issue with the place is it seems like there's a management issue. They either aren't readily available, have horrible attitudes, or are straight up being mean to staff where customers can hear. This same issue bleeds into Blu Pointe as well.
Unfortunately what used to be family businesses owned by the Bonura's are now corporate owned slop.

Beautiful spot with an awesome view of the river. The seating is indoor but the whole side of the building is without windows so it feels like you’re outdoors. Spacious and beautifully curated/decorated. More contemporary and cool. Lots of selection and everything is of quality.

We came here for happy hour during the week. There wasn’t very many people, so we got a seat right by the water and the views were stunning. The spicy margaritas were some of the best I’ve had in my entire life. I forgot to take pictures of the food, but the elote was phenomenal. My only gripe was that the happy hour only included three of the tacos on the menu.

Stopped by here on our first night in the area not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the GF options. The vibe was fun and chill and the staff was great.
