Simply stellar. The vibe is perfect for everyone from a solo eater (me) to a family with small children. The staff is engaged and welcoming. And the food is both simple and complex. Great coffee too!
I didn't realize this place is only open three days a week. It was rather run down like it's surrounding neighborhood. The booth seats were shedding. They had a coffee roaster sitting near the front windows and it would be great to get fresh roasted coffee some day but I fear this is just a pipe dream. Our breakfast was fine but nothing spectacular. I ordered a single pancake and it was very small. This place certainly doesn't warrant a 4.8 rating on Google Maps.

The atmosphere was chill and had great vibes all around. The best part? When I went up to grab a second coffee, they gave it to me for free as a congratulations for checking out colleges. That really made my day. Big thanks to the team at BVC Café — definitely my new go-to spot when I’m in the area!!!
