The first time I tried eating here and the customer service was excellent. Yesenia was attentive & she helped me pick my food . I never tried Colombian food and may I say it’s delicious I order a New York steak and it come out perfect. Highly recommend

The server misheard me on what I ordered and immediately started getting upset with me. Which was weird because I remember asking for replacements on the dish and I didn’t even see that in the wrong dish she gave me. I didn’t have an attitude or anything and when I had an allergic reaction to an appetizer, I asked for water. They decided to give me a bottle which I thought was weird because not only they said there’s nothing they can do but proceed to charge for water? So I tried talking to the manager that I didn’t wanna pay for the water and if I could get it from the bar. She looked ant me and said “you didn’t specify what you wanted” (as if I wasn’t trying to clear things up now🙄). I told her that I needed water and she said no worries, she’ll just take the water off the bill. Apparently, there was miscommunication because I thought she meant I could just drink out of the bottle as a courtesy, but no. She meant I have to give the water bottle back and I wouldn’t get any water. Just after I cracked the bottle open- she immediately says she’ll have to charge me. I was so upset at that point because she watched me and waited for me to open it to say that.

I have to tell you Noches de Colombia in Newburgh off of Exit 84 was an amazing experience for my 41st Birthday. My waitress for this evening was Yesenia. She was so attentive, kind and sweet. I would highly recommend anyone of all walks of life to try this amazing restaurant for their excellent service, delicious food and drinks. Terrible service. Waiting for basic attention. Food came out cold. Seemed that the staff is too busy having their own good time with each other, or personal friends than to serve customers, especially when the restaurant was not crowded on a Friday night. Food menu was very limited and food tasted ordinary. Price would be ok if the food was good and the service was better! Ambiance is ok, but the energy seemed off with not too many happy customers. So disappointed in this overall poor experience, when I actually wanted to enjoy dinner here with my daughter- oh well.
