Today was our first time here. A great place to grab a delicious breakfast. They had a special with captain crunch berry pancakes which were amazing! The creativity makes it a fun place to come. The staff is extremely nice, our waitress came up and made conversation with us and made us feel very welcomed. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be coming back!

Amazing family owned diner. Food is fantastic, owner and staff are incredible. One of the best places to eat in Niagara falls.

Upon sitting at the first booth (approx 3ft at most from the door) a little girl came to our table telling us we need masks. As we were seated. No menus, "you need masks". We had masks on us, but seeing as we were seated, why would she approach us and then tell us we need masks? I asked her if she would like me to stand up and wave my mask to prove I had it? Cause at this time we weren't sure if we were being plunked yet. She proceeds to walk back to her "perch" by the register. She doesn't move much from that spot that's for sure. After 10 more minutes our poor waitress (who was absolutely wonderful) approached us, and asks if we are ready, but I have never been before, so I did need a menu. The food was ....meh....a Western Omelet does not consist of throwing peppers, onions and ham, and folding it into eggs on a flat griddle. Sorry, it was gross, and both of us left our omelets. All in all, the atmosphere was good, seeing the old High Schools and of course seeing a T for Trott on that wall made me happy as well. Our waitress was a sweetheart dispute her boss making her adhere to the States illegal mask mandates, when our County is NOT enforcing them. We will not return that's for sure. The little girl who just stands at the register that you have appointed as your mask police, should be trained to give menus, bus tables, maybe bring drinks for the waitress who is alone? Take out some garbage? Seems she could be actually working, as opposed to just standing at the register glaring at people because she doesn't want to work on a Holiday. But that's just me, with 25 years of Restaurant Experience. I know losing 2 customers is nothing to a Diner, but we told 2 friends, who shared with us their experience, who also told 2 friends, and so on and so on.

My family has been eating here for a long time. We love it. You are warnly welcomed, and greeted with a smile. The owner prides herself on making sure to cater to you.. She engages good conversation, or just a listening ear. Do yourself a favor and stop in for breakfast or lunch. You will not regret it and we bet you'll come again

Looking for yummy breakfast/diner food? Want it to be inexpensive and quick? Relaxed family atmosphere where you can bring the kiddos, or maybe a stop for a no fuss meal while you're shopping in the area? Augies is a great choice for all of the above. We left feeling like they delivered on exactly what we wanted - our favorite breakfast food, made quick and delicious, in and out of the place in about 30 minutes. Friendly waitstaff as well. I would say it fits "hole in the wall" criteria given that it's just a small little place in a strip mall, certainly not lavishly appointed, but don't those sorts of establishments often have the best food anyway?

Went for breakfast after church today and was disappointed. There was no wait and on a Sunday at 10 that's hard to find so that was good. Our waitress was ok and pleasant that wasn't an issue. The place is very old and dingy which I understand it's a diner but paint is pealing and chipped and very few decorations make the place look borderline dirty. The main problem was the food. It wasn't seasoned in the least. It had no flavor at all, my toast was dry with a small amount of butter. I had to abuse a salt shaker and bottle of hot sauce to get some flavor. For me, and my husband and kid it cost over $40, for food I could do much better at home or any other location.

very unfortunately a racist diner who is less than interested in serving and seating my family in the year 2021

The food and service was exemplary. Even though short staffed, the young lady filling the duties of hostess, waitress, server and cashier was very pleasant and efficient. All around a great experience…..and the prices were very reasonable and the portions generous.

Went by the reviews. I recommend this place. Good price for the amount of food (lots) shared plate. Friendly and courteous staff.
