We dined at Como’s on our first evening in Niagara Falls. We enjoyed its old-school decor, the excellent service, the lavish portions, and its thoroughly New York atmosphere. Barb especially enjoyed the Veal Francesca, which the Italian restaurants in our part of the country never offer. Highly recommended.
The last time I ate at this establishment was while I was in College about 45 years ago! Many years have passed and The Como still stands! My husband and I decided to give it a try for our wedding anniversary tonight. The restaurant is open only Wed, Thurs Fri and Sat from 4-8 pm for dinner. Take a step back in time to an Italian restaurant run “family style”. Lots of locals in the bar area, where Mario, the bartender, serves the libations and then gives you a friendly hug, “Italian style”. Dominic, the manager, loves to share the famous past of the restaurants and showed us the many photos of celebrities that have dined there: Yogi Beara, The Beatles, Chuck Norris, Bette Midler, Susan Lucci, John Travolta, Any Williams.
