Fuji Grill Niagara Falls

The hibachi chefs were fantastic and truly the highlight of the experience. They made it fun and entertaining! The food was delicious and well-prepared. However, I was disappointed with the service, which didn’t meet expectations. To make matters worse, gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which I wasn’t informed about beforehand, and it didn’t feel justified given the level of service. While I enjoyed the chefs and the food, the overall experience left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. I always tip well, and they never did this till I guess recently

First time going here. And I never leave reviews. I feel bad for this, but I just have to speak up.
They said they were short staffed. I’m usually a very understanding person, but i guess that should have been my red flag.
Waited quite a long time for things that weren’t even cooked (soup, sushi), but they forgot my BF’s sushi order. No biggie, they said they were short staffed, I’ll just get the server. Waited 20-30 mins, until I was able to alert someone.. When his food was brought out, (another 10-15 mins later) it wasn’t what he expected/ordered (he ordered the sushi regular, which the description says a variety of cooked tuna) he got nigiri with uncooked tuna. The sushi chef came to our table and tried to argue with us that it was correct (which according to their menu description, it wasn’t) my BF was just done and wanted to leave so we said nevermind. Waited another 20-30 mins for them to take our payment.
The meal itself was cheap, the food (that we got that was correct) was great, but that was hand down the worst service I’ve ever experienced, even at restaurants with half capacity. I feel bad for the staff; the guy even admitted this was his first day and he was just a busboy. Maybe cross training your employees better before putting them alone on the floor would be the move.

Simply phenomenal. The staff make you feel right at home. Portions are large and food is simply delicious. Love love love this place! Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Niagara falls

Meh. Lots of other better hibachi style restaurants can be found. Cleanliness of the booths and seating and washrooms and floors are acceptable but allot could be done to spruce and today and clean the place up.
