Ghada Have It! Mediterranean Home Cooking

The food had the potential to have been very very good but I think the meat was skimped out on quite a bit which absolutely ruined the dish that I had gotten. When you take into consideration all of the sour tangy zesty type flavors in this type of food, typically it is only being balanced out by the meat. And there was damn near no meat in my dish..... I paid extra for the meat. And there was almost none. Completely ruined the entire dish I couldn't even eat it It was just too sour. I love Mediterranean food I love feta cheese banana peppers etc etc but you have to have something to carry all that flavor..

I called in my order and was told 30 miin it would be ready. I came in 35 min later and had to wait an additional 10 min which would not have been an issue if my order was correct. Get it home, no garlic sauce on it and the falafel is so overcooked it’s crunchy!!!This is the second time now in a row that I have had an issue. Prior to this incident I ordered my falafel bowl and when I came to pick it up, they had forgot about my order altogether so I ended up having to wait an additional 30 min for it.

I would consider myself a regular and would order about once a week. Now I’m not sure I will continue to patronize with this inconsistent food and service.

This place is seriously amazing. The food? So good. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — you can taste the difference in every bite. The menu has just the right mix of comfort and creativity. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

And don’t even get me started on how clean everything is. The whole place is spotless, which honestly makes the food taste even better. You can tell Bashar takes real pride in what he does. He’s always so welcoming and makes sure everyone feels taken care of.

I went to Ghada have it with my family after church and had the most wonderful experience. I had ordered the chicken fingers and fries well my family all ate the chicken rice bowls and platers we all enjoyed it and ate every last bit, the tables were spotless, shining even, and the floors had nothing, i have never seen a cleaner restaurant in my LIFE, if you’re looking for a place with good food and amazing service go there you will very much enjoy. me and my family Ghada have it 10/10 will tell my friends !!

Amazing people! The whole staff is very kind and respectful, they are always willing to help and give back to the community. I would recommend them over and over again ! Amazing food as well very clean and quick service! Definitely recommend the rice bowl !

I usually love Ghada Have It! And I've never left a review like this - or at all for that matter. We live in Lewiston and ordered delivery. They called 20 minutes before the delivery was scheduled and advised there was no delivery and we would have to come pick it up. No problem picking it up and they even gave us a slight discount. However the food was horrible, we didn't get any of the dressings we ordered and there was nothing seasoned on the chicken. I am happy to see your presence in Lewiston becoming more established, but very dissatisfied and sad about our recent orders.

I am sorry to say, the food was terrible. The owner is very nice. I hope he works on getting a better chef and improving food quality. I found other mediterranean restaurants in the area with much better tasting food.

Some of the best food in the area. The meat pie is out of this world, amazing spices and good portions. I could eat it every day. The hummus is my favorite hummus well seasoned (i prefer it to pita gourmet hummus)
Staff is kind and helpful. I was admittedly grumpy stressed, and Hangry prior to going to work and they were understanding.
Sometimes can be a wait for the food due to small kitchen but it is legitimately worth the wait. I only ever get takeout but would like to sit down and have a relaxed meal there soon.

One of the Worst Dining Experiences – Avoid!

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We ordered four rice bowls — two chicken and two beef — and none of them were edible. Every single bowl was extremely over-salted, to the point where it was not just unappetizing, but potentially unhealthy.

We were four people and none of us could eat the food. When we politely brought it to the staff’s attention, their only response was, “This is our recipe” — as if the issue was ours, not theirs. There was no offer to remake or adjust the meal, no apology with sincerity, and shockingly, no warning anywhere on the menu about the excessive salt levels. For food that salty, there should absolutely be a clear notice or caution.

Instead of replacing the food, they offered us a dessert to “make up for it” — and then only brought one tiny dessert for each of us. Completely unprofessional and dismissive.

To top it off, we paid around $84–$90 for food we couldn’t even eat. The portion sizes of chicken and beef were also extremely small given the high price. Overall, it was not only a waste of money but an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.

Do yourself a favor — think twice (or ten times) before eating here. Overpriced, unbalanced food, poor service, and zero accountability. 👎😡

Exceptional service!! Our server, Joelle, was so friendly and attentive to us! The food was so tasty and fresh. Very cute, family owned vibe. We came here because it was close to the fashion outlets and we will be coming back again!
