Ok food. Not great for the price. Friendly, semi attentive waiter. Responsive, friendly host & bartender. Excellent cocktails. I've seen and heard rave reviews but I wasn't blown away, even a little, like I thought I'd be. I'd still recommend it & probably return. It just wasn't the level I was led to believe it was.
I do recommend this Restaurant. The food was really good and came out the kitchen hot. The server was very tentative. You will not be disappointed at this Restaurant!
We ate outside in a lovely lake view setting. Matrede was very friendly & helpful Halibut was delicious but somewhat over cooked Prime ribs was somewhat chewy Ambiance was delightful
Lovely spot after a trip to the falls. Good food and nice ambiance away from the tourist zone.
Nice place to eat with a slight view of the river on the back patio. The food was great and a good atmosphere sitting outside but the server was a little unattentive but we didn't stay too long.
My husband made reservations here for my birthday dinner, when we arrived the young lady at the host said that we cannot be seated even though we had a reservation, she made no effort to try to seat us even though it was two of us and we explained it was my birthday dinner, she bluntly said to come back in 45 minutes, reason being they don’t have enough servers and they close at 10 pm. Then appeared a server called VEE who overheard our conversation and quickly told us to come on in to be seated for dinner. He is so polite and friendly, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. I acknowledge him because of his kind ways and definitely would say he is a valuable asset to the restaurant. Kindness goes a long way and it’s always nice to meet people like Vee who are genuinely happy to help. As for the dinner menu, I would say for a restaurant in a hotel you would expect more options.
We were waiting for 30 minutes while somebody paid attention to our table. My son has birthday today and we were totally ignored by waitresses. People who came after us were given menu and bottle of water. One of the waitresses who served them looked at us with wide eyes and gave 1 glass of water for 4 people! 😂 and again total ignoring, I came to the manager and asked what’s going on and we again waited for extra 10 minutes. That’s disgusting service when people just ignore you and you don’t exist for them at all. Just shame on all waitresses who work 4th of July :( you ruined my son’s birthday dinner
The host who sat us was rude. Took another party who was begging to change their reservations for an earlier seating to be able to see the fire works starting at 9:40. We were on time for our reservation and waiting patiently. The host took the other party before us and sat them in a much better location than where we sat. We sat next to the water station. I asked the host if we could sit in another location because it was a special occasion for us and I didn't want to be next to the service station. He told us he had nothing else available. “This is it” he said. I watched him seat two other parties in better locations. No ‘reserved' sign on the table. Food was really good and our server was super nice.
Parkway Prime was a good gamble. It is in the Doubletree Hotel which gave of reason to pause, but we were glad we went. Our server (Sandy) was excellent. The bread tasted homemade and the butters were smooth and good. Our salads were large and tasty. We both ordered filets which were nicely seasoned and cooked exactly to our liking. We were one of the only tables there so after dinner we were able to take an additional drink on their deck. Overall a nice experience.
The location, atmosphere and service were all great. The servers were very attentive and helpful. The food was a let down. First of all the menu is very limited. You figured with it being inside of the double tree that they would have a lot more and better menu options. I ordered the Seafood linguine, the sauce was very bland, the mussels were over cooked and dry. They literally took one scallop and cut it into about 5 smaller pieces and sprinkled it on top. Then to top it off the portion had to have been for a child! The presentation was on point but the meal was definitely sub par.

My third time going to this restaurant. Was great the first time, even better the next and yesterday, 6/16/25, was perfection. Sat on the patio for dinner, mother nature was kind with nice weather and a very pleasant river view. Inside and outside seating offer a spacious, comfortable atmosphere. Beautiful facility. The hostess was wonderful, bartender, and other staff were welcoming. The server Hanna is stellar. She hit all the high notes and covered all the bases. Thank you for the excellent evening.
Our food was cold when we received it. Was told by our server she said “that they don’t like me back there so most likely nothing will be done about it but I can ask.” She told them and the chef response was we let our steaks rest. I told her we visit several high end steak house and were aware of the resting process but none have ever come out cold!! I ate my lobster tail and a small amount of my 16 oz rib eye steak. Even my drawn butter for my lobster was cold!! She took the butter back and heated it for me. It was 3 in our party and we each had the 16 ounce rib eye with a side and an alcoholic beverage. I added the lobster tail to my meal and my sister added the grilled shrimp so we spent a nice penny for a sub par meal!!! Since we were not satisfied with our meal our server did her best to make things better by offering a free desert or another alcoholic drink. Like that made up for 3-$56.00 steaks and a $55.00 lobster tail with A-La-Cart sides. She told us that management did not offer discounts like we were looking for a discount but they should have been interested in speaking with us but that never happened. Needless to say I won’t patronize this establishment again.
Don't be fooled by the good reviews, we waited over 20 minutes to get our table even though we had a reservation and they weren't busy!! We waited 40 min for our waitress to come ask us what we wanted to drink, then waited another 30 min for the drinks to get to the table. After ordering we waited an hour for our meals, which arrived cold!! The food was horrible and so was the service!! $210.00 later we found ourselves wishing we would have went to McDonald's. We went to the hard Rock Cafe the second evening and everything was AMAZING and way cheaper!! We were so excited to experience your steakhouse just to be let down!!
Very cute restaurant + the server was very nice. However, the $50+ steaks were terrible. Mine was overcooked, and they were incredibly bland. The bread that came with the meal was terrible - chewy + undercooked. Their "maple butter" tasted like a BBQ potato chip - nasty. Their "whipped potatoes" were actually disgusting, didn't even deserve the title of instant potatoes. Bland and a weird texture. The drink had a nasty syrup at the bottom that was inedible. Super expensive restaurant that didn't have the ambience to make up for its bad food.
We were staying in Niagara Falls for business and was looking for a good place for dinner. We went to the Casino and thought it was just okay and overpriced. We came back to the hotel and had a great meal and great service. Would recommend.
